For £5 the amount of things he got was fantastic! I Took my mom for lunch for her birthday and dany was lovely she even organised her pudding with a candle and came out singing happy birthday which was lovely for her to do,it wasnt too busy which was nice and food was lovely its only my second time of going here,price is also great,will be heading back there for sure.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and is nicely decorated.The service was excellent we had a set meal and the food was absolutely lovely. I certainly recommended for you to try this place. We always enjoy the food here, we have visited often (that speaks volumes ?).The staff are attentive, professional and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely, the tables are nicely spaced (I hate being 'packed in'). There are lots of returning customers & I can see why !!

Was on the search for a new indian takeaway, and my god this place did not dissapoint. Everything was spot on. Good amount of popadoms, not just 1 for £1 like most places now. Masala sauce so rich, colourful and tasty. Madras with a nice kick, nothing greasy or watery.MASSIVE amount of cheese in the naan's . Even the "Free" items were absoloutly amazing ??. Saved my back there guys!Will be ordering from you again, and will be having a sit in meal with you too. Keep up the good work guys!!

Booked a meal for a family birthday at the beefeater, cannock on 20th March 2024 . The service, food and atmosphere was faultless. I do not live in cannock, however despite there being beefeaters close to my home address, i always choose to eat at longford House beefeater, i know i will not be disappointed, and this visit was no exception. On arrival the drink orders were taken and served promptly. Our waitress for the meal was Jayne and she was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Meals were amended from what was stated on the menu. Meals that were not on the menu were also accommodated, as i have fussy children who will only eat certain things lol. The food was excellent. There were little time between courses and so we did not have to wait long for the next course. I was even given a happy birthday song, card and present from the staff, an additonal personal touch. Would highly recommend anybody wanting good food in a welcoming environment.

Busy family pub. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered a 2 course Sunday lunch. Food served in a timely manner and was very tasty. Also good value. We will definitely be returning.

I booked a table for my daughter’s birthday, which included a surprise guest who we’d planned would arrive a little later than us.I arrived early and went into the restaurant to explain about the surprise guest and to hand over the cake, that I asked to be brought out once we’d finished our meals.The main personality of the whole evening was the superb waitress; Demi!She knew exactly what I was asking for regarding the surprise and assured me that all would go to plan.Once it was time to be seated, Demi was totally professional, as well as continuing to keep the expected, secret guest appearance a surprise.Demi has a great sense of humour and is extremely friendly & helpful.I can’t thank her enough, for making my daughter’s special night just perfect!Demi is most definitely an asset to this beautiful restaurant & we will definitely be returning again.The food was absolutely delicious (though portions slightly smaller than we’re used to) & the service from all staff was second to none.The dining area was spotlessly clean and well organised.Personally though, I’d prefer slightly lower lighting, as it was extremely bright; although, of course, that’s a matter of opinion.Super restaurant that we will definitely return to.100%!?

Called in on the way home for a pint of larger.It’s definitely a locals pub with a lively atmosphere as the locals talk to each other- it was interesting listening to their banter and I was made to feel welcome.The pint of larger was one of the best I’ve had for a very long time, that good I ordered a 2nd pint.A special mention for the exceptionally clean toilets.I would call in again if I was in the area.

Luxury cakes and desserts

We decided last minute to try this restaurant because our friends keep recommending just how good it is. We were not disappointed at all. First impressions walking in is the atmosphere is modern and uncomplicated decor all laid out very well. The staff were very friendly but retained a good professional level. We ordered wine by the glass which was fair priced and then dived into the menu. Choosing a mixed platter to start everything was perfectly seasoned and tender and very “more-ish”. Moving then to a South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken and a Chicken Tikka Peshwar they were both really delicious and presented very well. The garlic nan was light and fluffy and not too big which suits me. I’d love to try something “home style” by the chef as I am sure he is excellent and sampling real Bangladesh flavours would be even better than BIR recipes. We will be back…. Oh and I forgot to mention the price, excellent value…..see you in the next couple weeks.

Reserved for after a morning walk on the chase New Year’s Day. Think we will make this an annual tradition. Easily reserved the day before. Excellent welcome on arrival. They had tried to contact me I. Regards to a kitchen issue which they had then resolved, but very forward thinking of them. Manager served us, very friendly despite having been at the pub until 3am and back open at 9am! Well organised, good food and excellent prices

Ordered at 18:50 and said that it will arrive a 19:30 cam 10 minutes early which was more excellent. The chips were delicious to be quite honest I can't even think of a different word to think of these chips. To the stringy cheese nann bread which was bloody beautiful. I will 100% order from here again.

We had our Christmas Day dinner here. Never been to the place before. A relative booked it. Was really impressed. The staff were very attentive, table nicely laid out, and we couldn’t fault the food. They catered for our 2 disabled relatives in wheelchairs. Would go again anytime. Thank you for making Christmas Day special.

Went here 2 weeks ago and have had probs with phone since.... back up now though there was 4 of us in the party and all really enjoyed the meal ....the food was very tasty and fresh and hot ...the staff were brilliant...and if you need any beer the Coop is just across the road ... going again Friday can't wait ?

The Indian Smokehouse

We really enjoyed the food here, it was freshly cooked to order and it is very reasonably priced.For me, the downside was how noisy it was in there - several TV’s playing at high volume, added to the sound of snooker/pool tables made it impossible to hear each other even at close proximity to each other - and we were there in the afternoon (a reasonably ‘quiet’ time).

I was served by a gentleman who’s name I believe was Fletch this evening. I have been served by him before and his is undoubtedly one of the most polite, pleasant and caring staff members. Although it was late at night he had a smile on his face, made conversation and asked me about my day as always. I really hope he gets the deserved recognition for his amazing customer service and hard work.

McDonald's is always an easy option for majority of people unless there dietary requirement like vegan and vegetarian. The service is quick and friendly. The self service kiosk is another added advantage to avoid queuing. Nonetheless to say that the food is mostly cooked when ordered and get customised food order as well.We always like the deals of the day - wrap of the day. This one is great with a meal deal - fries and drinks.Plenty of seating and toilet facilities. A great option on the motorway!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of indoor areas for kids to play. There also some toys available inside the centre.

McDonald's

Monday 27/11/23 I was browsing the app and mistakenly it said my order was confirmed despite me not ordering. I popped into the restaurant and the team working that night were excellent, extremely helpful from Sam & Jack who helped deal with the issue and Lorraine who served my food. Great to see Karen who myself and my family have had the pleasure of meeting before doing an excellent job keeping everywhere tidy. Fantastic team and very professional. Great experience.

Jasmine Tandoori & Balti Restaurant

Always loved the Jasmine - this is our go-to Indian restaurant and has been for around 20 years (and Mum remembers when it first opened over 30 years ago!). The family who run it are lovely and the food is consistently smashing. I made a booking for my dad's birthday (doubled up with Mother's Day for my mother and grandmother). We've not visited in person since the lockdown, so this was truly a special occasion! When we arrived, we were shown to one of the booths off to the side and given menus to peruse. The restaurant itself was quite quiet which was a surprise; there weren't many parties dining in (and we stayed for over 2 hours) given it was Mother's Day weekend but they were very busy with take-out. We all went for a variety of different meals and sides - the Chicken Tikka Tandoori, Aloo Gobi, Korma, Plain Naan, Golden Chicken Curry (one of the Jasmine's specials) and a Butter Chicken. Food was brought out beautifully presented and hot; everyone agreed that the food was up to the Jasmine's usual standard and the portions have remained very generous over the years! To wash this lovely grub down, our table ordered a bottle of water, two tonic waters and two Cobra beers. The bill at the end of the night was very reasonable at just under £70 - not many places that'll feed four adults for that! The restaurant hasn't had a re-decoration in quite some time; it looks exactly the same as it did 10 years ago, but it's still clean, bright, with some lovely attentions to detail - little branded hot serviettes, branded after-dinner chocolates, glass illustrated panels dividing the booths. Parking is good - there's a large free car park just around the corner by Tonic Day Spa, and if by chance that's full, you can easily find alternatives around the back of the High Street. Accessibility is something to note; there is a step up into the restaurant, and stairs up to the loo. The only downside I could mention is that you'll need to be patient; there were only two ladies on the waiting staff, and they were juggling take-out and in-house customers. Very polite and happy to give recommendations, but they were pretty rushed off their feet when we visited. If you want to see the dessert or coffee menu, or if you're in a rush and want the bill straight away, it's worth asking when someone arrives to take your plates. You might not be able to catch their eye too quickly after that! Looking forward to visiting again, it was a lovely night full of good food and company.

First time we’ve used this Chinese takeaway, and without a doubt it’s the best we’ve ever had! Everything was fresh and hot, we especially loved the salt and pepper chips. This will be our new go to Chinese :)

Booked 8 adults and 2 children for my a 70th birthday meal. Service was excellent, food as usual was first class and served to table in a timely manner. No pressure even when some guests got stuck travelling from Bham. I cannot thank you enough for everything.Nothing is to much trouble.

A great find for pre theatre dining! What amazing food - I have complex intolerances meaning I cannot have lactose, garlic nor onion (amongst others) which is hard with indian cuisine (also my favourite) A phone call to the restaurant beforehand offered assurance I could be catered for and what a superb job they did! I was advised exactly which dishes could be adapted and was not limited to the usual one or two which was a refreshing change from pub grub where all too often the only dish on offer is gammon, egg & chips as no adaptations can be made to others! Attentive, friendly staff & great value for money. Very convenient for our pre theatre meal too. Will definitely be back! I had chicken shashlick, salad, sag aloo all freshly prepared without onion or garlic

I ordered of uber eats and food was amazing and the delivery driver was absolutely fabulous I asked him to ring due to family being asleep he also messaged me when he was leaving to give a heads up and rang as he got outside of the house thank you so much to that man great service thank you very much I ordered just before 10 and it got to me for 5 past ten on Thursday 7th so if you know the driver at the restaurant pls send a massive thank you from me :)
