Having had a great experience at the Darshan in Wolverhampton we thought we would have a trip out and try the 'sister' restaurant in Cannock.I am really pleased to say that we had a great time here. If anything the food was even better, even if I was to be extremely picky I couldn't find fault with our meal. The extremely moist chicken tikka in my curry being the best I have ever had. Flavoursome onion pakora, and curries, ample portions and excellent sides. So impressed that I even had a rare dessert, a Nepalese rice pudding.The restaurant may need a little 'tidy up' here and there but I reckon few would notice, and more wouldn't be bothered.Legendary Nepalese friendliness as standard.Can't wait to go back.
One of our favourite places to eat. We make a 45 minute journey at least once a month just to come here because it’s SO good. They have an AMAZING vegan menu, the vegan ‘chicken’ is some of the best we’ve ever had and there is just a fantastic range to suit all tastes. We have visited many times with different friends and family members some vegan and some meat eaters and nobody has ever had a bad meal. Everybody is catered for so well. Staff are always so lovely, particularly Dev who is really clued up about the vegan options and always really friendly. Our last meal here was Christmas Day and it did not disappoint. We had an excellent vegan platter to start and tried their delicious cheesecake for the first time. Recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian or Nepalese cuisine, it’s definitely the best we’ve had.

The food was delicious. I hadn't been before but many people there had and were returning customers including who I was with! The food was so good that I keep thinking of it 2 days later! I hope to return if I'm in the area again! And I want to try everything on their vegan menu!Vegetarian options: They had an entire vegan menu with a lot of choice. The onion pakoras were delicious

Christmas dinner 3 course with the family, we was all looking so forward to eating our Christmas dinner at this restaurant, people raving about how great it was. But, I was so disappointed with the overall meal, 1st the starters so called king prawn starter with garlic, the prawns was like rubber and very chewy so obviously frozen ones not fresh also no taste of garlic bland and lukewarm, disgusting. Then the main meal came which in all fairness was not too bad apart from one meal which was the a Turkey dinner, there was sill string warped around the Turkey meat ?. The sweets arrived and the cheese cake served on a slate plate with a half of strawberry times 2 plates was Mouldy. So overall felt really let down, we have eaten here many times always had a great time and a good meal. There was no Christmas atmosphere at all, I will never eat there again.
