Really disappointed in this visit. Booked for my daughter to join us after visiting my son after op new year's Day. This is a place we visit regularly. Restaurant was quite empty which was fine for us . Unfortunately what we had to eat really wasn't anything like normal. My daughter had drink her glass was really dirty. We had shared platter which was really over done , and not nice to eat. This the first time for any type of complaint always been great. Seemed no senior person to overlook anything. We will attend again . We will visit again, but hopefully it wont be as it was this afternoon.

Pie - nothing special served with chips and peas ( basic nothing special) Burgers x2 - portions adequate but not huge ( teenager still hungry) Popcorn chicken- small portion but adequate for a 4 year old Waited a longtime for desert Childs chocolate brownie was hot ( 4 year old - no warning), sticky toffee pudding nice and adult knickerbocker glory ok. Waiter service- didn’t ask if the meal was ok. Asked twice if we’d ordered desert ( we would have left but had paid) Not the best experience- cheap and ok (£78.00 excluding drinks)

A flying visit on way home. Great value. Rump steak was cooked as asked for and was very tender and tasty. Staff were great. Will visit this and other Brewers Fare restaurants again.

Hadn’t booked but they found us a table extensive menu the staff today were brilliant friendly knowledgeable even though they were rushed off their feet - they explained the waiting time which was fine We accepted that and it was spot on and the food was superb and hot. Thank you

Went on Sunday for breakfast with Santa. It was extremely busy but the atmosphere was perfect . Very well organised and the staff were all lovely and very accommodating. Nothing was rushed and the kids had a fabulous time. The only thing I would say was next year could you try and make Santa a bit more authentic he was a bit to young . Saying that he was lovely with the children.

This pub was home to us for five days, and it did feel like home. All the meals we had here were fast delivered, hot and delicious. We also made some friends. All the staff work very hard to make sure the pub runs smoothly and effectively. We even had Santa for two days at breakfast. All I can say is thank you for a wonderful holiday and see you next year as we will definitely be back.
