Poor return visit. Went week 2 with friends that recommended and VERY disappointed. My mate Roger had two dishes that tasted almost identical.. the Jalfrezi did have peppers and onions on it but the difference ended there. When he asked which was which, the owner kind of took the pee and suggested he should have just had a Dupiazi. My dish was as close to a Naga as a chicken roast… As for Cheryl’s dish, it looked closer to a “chuck up” than a byriani. Very poor. I want to like this place but tonight was not the night. My wife’s tandoori was however the saving grace that gave them 3 stars not 2. I will not be rushing back, although note that my visit 10 days prior was a 5 star!!Dietary restrictions: They do seem to understand G-F.

We decided last minute to try this restaurant because our friends keep recommending just how good it is. We were not disappointed at all. First impressions walking in is the atmosphere is modern and uncomplicated decor all laid out very well. The staff were very friendly but retained a good professional level. We ordered wine by the glass which was fair priced and then dived into the menu. Choosing a mixed platter to start everything was perfectly seasoned and tender and very “more-ish”. Moving then to a South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken and a Chicken Tikka Peshwar they were both really delicious and presented very well. The garlic nan was light and fluffy and not too big which suits me. I’d love to try something “home style” by the chef as I am sure he is excellent and sampling real Bangladesh flavours would be even better than BIR recipes. We will be back…. Oh and I forgot to mention the price, excellent value…..see you in the next couple weeks.

Thought we would try somewhere different for a change...lots of good reviews but as we all know reviews don't mean a thing..food seem like it was from left overs did not look nice. Expensive...tasteless...would not visit again

We had a take away delivered from here last night and it was by far the best Indian we have had from Hednesford and local areas. The naan breads were absolutely delicious. We had 3 different curry dishes and couldn’t fault any of them. Would definitely recommend and this will now be our Indian take out place from now on!! ????

Bless them, They fitted us in as a walk in. We normally have a takeaway from here, which is stunning. The meal tonight was amazing. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

Excellent food reasonably priced and a friendly and warm welcome as usual. Highly recommended, especially the anakaki bahar if you like garlic

Excellent food! Possibly one of the best meals I’ve had at an Indian restaurant in a long time. We usually try 1 different dish when we eat out. We tried the Ceylon and it was excellent. Hot but still with lots of flavour. The chicken tikka starter was lovely, big chunks of lean chicken, very tender & moist. The king prawns were also really good, nicely done and not over cooked. Will we be trying Hednesford Spice again? Very definitely

The best in the buissness highly recommended. Nothing is to much trouble you ask for mild you get mild spicy you get spicy . Just an amazing place to eat in or takeaway ? meal tonight for our amy,s birthday ? Kid-friendliness: They love to see the kids & make them very welcome there so nice my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter was loving the special treats , ice cream & chocolate ?

Lived in cannock for a couple years, so tried a few different places which were all pretty bad. Since ive tried Spice of Hednesford they have been on the money everytime. Highly recommended
