Amazing food and service! Every dish was delicious. You don't need to be a golf club member, just turn up or book- good parking. Service was exceptional- professional, attentive, friendly and down-to-earth! We were served by Hannah, Clare and Dolly :)Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and no steps inside.

Delicious food. Great service, polite staff, staff went above and beyond, overheard that it was my birthday, and surprised me with a complimentary dessert with ‘Happy Birthday’. Would highly recommend. Will be coming back.

Went for Christmas meal with friends but the festive menu was disappointing, no Christmas pudding and poor choice of desserts. Another party there had crackers etc but we weren’t even offered any. Was told that they had a pre-ordered menu. My husband is a member of the golf club and on the email they sent him there was only one menu (which we had) with no option to prebook our choices, plus there was no mention of this on the website and we certainly had all the trimmings last year without pre-ordering. That said, the quality of food was good. Must improve before we return next year.

Birthday meal for 10 people. The vegetables were roasted and served in one bowl with oil in, 2 bowls between 10 people. We asked for extra potatoes, as the 2 bowls was not enough. We expected to have some steamed vegetables but there was none. It was a bit oily. The meat was nice and the fish, the vegetarian meal was a bit sickly. Staff nice and helpful. Lovely restaurant, decor lovely.Vegetarian options: I think there were 2 choices.Parking: Fairly big car park, but very full, due to golfing and another venue on all day.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide corridors and access.

Lovely place, lovely staff, food 6/10! I feel the good could do with a little updating. Make it a little more exciting than run of the mill. Husband did y enjoy the steak was too tough. I did enjoy my meal as did the family. I really enjoyed my visit and shall be back. I just wish the menu had a little more exciting options?

We visited the restaurant on a warm September evening. It was lovely sitting on the terrace for some drinks before the meal. The food was first class and the service was attentive without being imposing. We then had an hour on the terrace after the meal to enjoy the rest of the evening. It was a really enjoyable night and we have plans to return again with a slightly larger group. Definitely a venue that needs to be visited.

Had an amazing time at the woodlands restaurant the food was exceptional and serves in a timely manner. The staff are excellent and the young gentleman than served us could not of been more accommodating and polite. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Restaurant was very clean and considering we were there in the heat of September the room was really cool. The choice of meals was excellent and all cooked very well and hot. The staff went out of there way to make you feel at ease and where very friendly. The evening was finished with a drink sat out on the patio, peace and quiet with just the evening bird song.
Another wonderful meal combined with impeccable service from Paul and Naomi. Lovely touch from the team with an anniversary message on a wooden platter. The food was divine and mouth watering. Not been for a while but the quality is still as good as always. Thanks to all the team for a great evening.

Had a fabulous meal here to celebrate a special event for 20. The food was amazing. The staff attentive and helpful. Nothing was a problem. Food was well presented and so enjoyable. Everyone was very happy with their choices. A big thank you to Hannah James Cath and Annika.

Booked for Sunday lunch just the 2 of us to celebrate my husband’s birthday, we both had the 3 courses for £29.95 each. All of the courses were beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant is nicely decorated and tables are well spaced with views of the golf course. The drinks are reasonably priced for a restaurant. Service was very helpful and friendly. My husband had the mozzarella & tomato bruschetta starter, roast turkey main, he particularly enjoyed the cranberry stuffing and crème brûlée dessert. I had melon starter, roast beef main which was really nice but, the beef was a little too rare for me and lemon tart dessert was absolutely delicious. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back again.

Waited on staff very helpful food very good quality. Would we go back? definitely within yge next month. Very well laid out and great views over the Golf course anx Cannock Chase. All at a reasonable price.
