“Stayed here just before the Alton Towers Half Marathon. The initial welcome was lovely Connor took me directly to my room and was very helpful with the questions I had and was a very welcoming host. The room was lovely and warm and had a home from home feel to it. Loved the little fireplace thing with the light in. The bed was extremely comfortable. Unfortunately I never got eat any of the meals as I arrived very late at night and had to leave first thing the next morning. But I would almost certainly stay again great work guys lovely place you got there”

“Visited with my daughter and 18 month old grandson for my birthday lunch. Staff were very attentive, professional with both adults and Oscar. The Ship has been recommended by both myself and daughter to anyone wanting a really good menu. Value for money and excellent food.Kid-friendliness: Definitely somewhere you can take children of all ages and be made very welcome.”

“Was very quiet on the midweek day we went, didn't have everything on the menu, as I think they were working to a limited menu, but food was good and staff were friendly and polite.”

“There is a disabled toilet downstairs. It's better than some Wetherspoons. I only went there to meet up with my partner, have one drink and go home.Parking: Usually I can find a parking slot but on the odd time, the parking lot is full.”
