We had a family meal for 10. Our requests for a quiet area were met along with a high chair for the youngest member of the family. We were served by Karen who gave first class service. Orders for both drinks and food were taken within a short time of arrival, food arrived and was delicious and piping hot. Most people ordered from the festive menu and there was a two or three course option for a fixed price and a good selection of options. We all enjoyed our meals and would certainly recommend this pub/restaurant.

Outside of the building could do with a lick of paint it looks neglected, service was average, nothing special to report. Good communication with allergies as my nanna has a fish allergy which we cannot fault them on as they were very attentive. Service was a little slow considering there we were only one of three tables in the restaurant. Burnt my mouth on the chocolate brownie, disappointed as I couldn’t finish it with it being scalding hot in the middle, had to ask for a glass of water at the bar and got told “Oh sorry babe”! Seriously, avoid ordering here where possible. Disappointed that we weren’t asked if we had been before which we haven’t as we do not live in the area. So unfortunately due to some minor issues we will not be returning again.

Karen and Amy were really friendly and made me feel welcome. Amy even remembered me from 2 years ago. However, I was disappointed with the food on Monday, but it was a lot better on the Tuesday Hence only 3 stars if the Turkey dinner was as good as it looks in the pictures, I would have gave 5 star

Had a family meal here . The staff were very poor could benefit from a bit more training in customer service and product knowledge. The waitress didn't know what drinks were available. Also missed items off the order . When we mentioned it had to wait for ages for it to be rectified The food itself was cooked well and portion size was good . There was no soap in the toilets when mentioned to staff member nothing was done to rectify.. Had a nice time apart from the few issues we had with the one staff member ..

My son has Autism and can struggle in certain surroundings with smelly and noises. The manager Karen could see he was stressed and was excellent at helping to make sure he was in a seat he was comfortable. The food and service was also excellent. I would highly recommend. Thanks

I would like to recommend the Cheadle Royal Restaurant in Cheadle, Stockport, because it has absolutely lovely staff in Karen, Shay,Anthony, Darbs, Darren, Kirsty, Maisie, Keira and Chyna. My daughter and I stayed overnight at the adjoining Premier Inn so it was super easy to use the pub. Great service from the team - Karen in particular was lovely. The food was nice and good value. Would definitely recommend for families in particular.

Food ordered was plentiful and well cooked in the evening and breakfast menus contained everything you could want but what I would like to complement is the customer service. Food service was polite and timely but what truly impressed me was the restaurants approach to allergies. Usually we need to ask about nut content in food, here we were asked on arrival by the staff and then provided with all relevant allergen information to read in conjunction with the menu. Diligence to the cause continued during service where our meals were provided separately to avoid cross-contamination and fresh cutlery was provided as a matter of course. This wasn't a one off either. A well drilled routine for breakfast as well. Many thanks Kirsty, Karen & Amy
