“Pleasantly surprised being a chain I wasn’t expecting great things. Had a small cod and chips meal deal. The fish was really good, light crispy batter and well cooked, not chewy. Really impressed with it and for the money, a good size. The chips were not as good though, however I do like quite soggy chips and these were not, and they were a little firm and dry to me and not very tasty. Will 100% go back for the fish. It’s so hard to find decent cod around the midlands having tried many many places.There are also tons of veggi options which I might try especially the banana blossom as I’ve never tried it. They also do scampi which assuming it’s not frozen fish substitute I will be trying soon.”
