Spice Merchant Restaurant

Lovely visit! Last minute decision to grab a bite to eat. Looked fairly busy when we arrived, but the service was smooth - the waiters were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

The Reform Inn

Great veggie food, simple and tasty, why cant other places serve this type of food instead of the usual spicy bean burger or bland veggie lasagne?

This is hands down our favourite place for lunch! Whenever my little boy and I go, it’s always such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, the staff are genuinely kind – especially Sam and Jess, who always go out of their way to be sweet with my little boy.

He loves the beautiful window displays and gets so excited to pick out a cake from the glass counter. The themed cakes are incredible – the Gruffalo one was his favourite – and the lemon cake is honestly next level. Everything is made with such care, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do.

We always leave with full bellies and big smiles. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Staff really friendly, but not over the top. Food always good , good size portions so great value for money. Had fish dish , as always fabulous , chicken bhuna also good .

OMG... WOW.. This has been the best pizza delivery we have experienced.. the timing was spot on, the pricing is bang on, the delivery guy was very friendly.... and to top it all the food has been amazing, we have always used a local family owned establishment, who are pricing themselves above the locals pockets.. let me tell you guys, CAPRINOS is now our go to pizza delivery place... Highly recommend... thankyou

The best Pizza in Leek.

They often have deals on for their Pizza which easily beats the local competition.

The sides are also fantastic: the sweet potato fries, halloumi and chicken strips are all super crispy and taste great.

The pasta is decent although it’s a little on the pricey side so I would definetly recommend going for the lovely pizzas.

Been here for the first time this morning and the breakfast was superb the staff were very polite and friendly and not long on the wait for the food at all, definitely be back here ☕️???

Naz Restaurant & Takeaway

We always enjoy visiting Naz for a top quality curry and a good chat with the owners and staff. Food has always been excellent and the service is second to none. They have an amazing selection of whisky - not just run of the mill stuff - some very rare bottlings. The restaurant is clean and the toilets are spotless.

Tittesworth Water - Waterview Restaurant

Lovely cafe, the cakes and coffee are very much recommend. Very good size menu with lots of options catering for various dietary requirements. Very friendly staff. Very quick service too. Gift shop has lots of treats and a good variety of gifts. Very large area outside for enjoying the sun and relaxing with large greens for playing games and a nice children's park. The car park is pay and display.

Flaming Leek

We had a great experience when we ordered a chicken shish wrap here. The guys were so nice to us offering some free chips while we waited. The wrap was fresh, juicy and tasty. One of the best wraps I've ever had no word of a lie!

Leek Bar & Grill

Spent a wonderful few hours here. First visit. Quiet when we first arrived in but it was only 530. Soon filled up and not surprised why. It’s a stunning venue. Staff were extremely professional and attentive. Food fantastic and all fresh. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back! Five stars!

Leek Junction

Just arrivwd at our caravan and looking for a nice place to eat, its never easy choosing as a lottery but found the Balti on Just Eat. The food arrived early and was extremely tasty. We had the inlaws with us and two fussy kids, all enjoyed the meal. We even rand and thanked the takeaway. Very good service, food and price, lovely!!!

Great service from Turkish Delight, ordered a kebab for my partner online tonight, realised I had accidentally selected the wrong one, completely my fault. Rang to check but order was already made and out for delivery however they said keep that one and have made us a completely new one and came and delievered that separately. Was a great takeaway aswell. What great customer service, much appreciated.

Rice N Spice

We ordered a vegetarian meal for 2 on the app it was ready on time and it's been one of the nicest Indian meals we've had, we would definitely go back there again.

Laurel Inn Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

Okay so my brother and I were sceptical about this place as I've seen there wasnt that many recent reviews but we gave it a try . Ordered beef chow mein and mushroom chow mein and let me tell you how delicious they were Oh my god. Ive been ordering that same chow mein since then and the 10 mini veggie spring rolls are so delicious, crispy and it doeant taste frozen. The one hour wait is worth it for the food. My brother is a very picky eater so this place deserves a 10/10 from us. Cant wait to order again ?♥️

Fantastic pub with great food menu, suitable for all occasions. Very family friendly and welcoming to all. Large car park and pub all on one level so easy access for a wheelchair. Would highly recommend!

Mill St Kitchen

We organised a buffet with Mill Street for mum’s birthday celebration and I can honestly say it was fabulous! Good old fashioned finger buffet, all super fresh and tasty and exactly what we all love for a family get together. The service from point of booking to collection was spot on and we will definitely do it again. Thank you to all the team ❤️

The Black Lion Cheddleton

We went for Sunday lunch as a family of adults and children and really enjoyed our visit. The food is Hugh quality and well priced. Loved knowing which farms provide the meats. Portion sizes were just right. Staff were friendly and accommodating for children. Would highly recommend!

The Valiant - Leek

The food was reasonable, good overall for a pub, no complaints. Service was good, price average to slightly higher roughly matches the quality. Burger was decent pizza okay.

Booked a table for 7 people for lunch and needed to pay a deposit to secure the table, I think you only have to pay for geoupsnof 7 or more ( I could be wrong).
The staff were great and welcoming no issues with ordering and all the food was lovely and good sized portions.

Earl Grey Leek Ltd

Not sure if this pub is still open but went in last year and the decor is amazing. Very old school. The beers are local as are the people inside. Very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The Flintlock at Cheddleton

Had the Christmas at Home box and it was stunning !!!
Definately recommend it was so easy but tasted like so much effort had been made and worked out £30 per head .

A Js Catering

If a cafe serving good food and lovely cakes etcThis is a good place to visit. Don't be put off by the petrol station the cafe is in the garden centre to the rear.

No 5 Cafe

This is definitely my favourite cafe in Leek! The coffee is top notch, the food is delicious (obviously the bread is perfect), and the cakes/slices are tasty. You can really tell that they care about the quality.

I love that they have great veggie/vegan options too, and it's all very fairly priced.

To top it off, the staff are very friendly and the service is quick.

Honestly can't fault anything. So happy we have this little place on our doorstep.

Vegetarian options: The vegan no chicken, bacon and mayo sandwich is delicious.

The Blue Mugge

Had a lovely lunch at the blue mugge today food was really good fresh and home made. and the staff were attentive and very polite a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Brilliant will come again soon.

Primo Piano Ristorante & Pizzeria

Always great and tonight enjoyed food off the Christmas menu, well cooked well presented Xmas Fayre with a modern stylish feel. Nice atmosphere and all the staff are switched on and well organised.

I love coming here specifically for the gammon steak it’s so juicy and perfectly done, worth the price you get so much, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, will be returning again

Live Love Loaf

The best sourdough in Leek and its surrounds. I got the country sourdough - flavourful & a good colour on the crust. Told the friendly young man the loaf was all I’d be getting & paid up, only to stop dead at the alluring sight of the raspberry donuts.

He cheerfully rang up the addition, but the donut disappeared too quickly down my hatch & I failed to get a picture? Outstanding & I’ll definitely be returning?

Thai Siam Leek

Such a brilliant restaurant in Leek! I’ve been coming here occasionally for years now and I have never been disappointed. We normally go in for the lunch where there is a deal that includes a starter and a main! The staff are extremely friendly and nice - giving my younger brother free prawn crackers and some chocolate at the end. Would highly recommend!

The Cock Inn

The pub has a lot of character and a great selection of drinks. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

However, there was a strong smell of dampness in the bar. I understand that this is an old building and dampness can be a problem.

I also run a business in an older property and we purchased a dehumidifier. The difference it made to the smell was incredible.

I would recommend that you purchase a dehumidifier.

China Town

If you’re after a proper Chinese takeaway in Leek, China Town Takeaway is one that absolutely delivers on both quality and value.
We recently ordered the set banquet for three, and honestly, it was more than enough, it comfortably fed four adults and a child, with leftovers to spare. That’s always a great sign, especially when you’re expecting standard portion sizes and end up with a feast instead.
We collected the food on time and even after our 10 minute drive it was still piping hot, which immediately sets the tone, and every dish was packed with flavour. The ribs were a real standout, tender, meaty, that had everyone reaching back in for more. The prawn toast was perfectly crisp on the outside with a generous, well-seasoned topping, and the spring rolls were just how they should be, golden, crunchy, and not at all greasy.
What really impressed us was the consistency across everything. It wasn’t just one or two good dishes, the whole banquet felt well thought out and properly executed. You could tell care had gone into both preparation and portioning.
For value alone, it’s hard to beat, but when you combine that with hot, tasty food and generous servings, it becomes an easy go to. Whether you’re feeding a family or just fancy over ordering (we’ve all done it), China Town Takeaway is well worth a visit.

Haregate Fish Bar

Great food, great service and great price. After setting up the caravan at a local site, I called in just after seven o'clock for three large chips, three large plain sausages, large peas and large curry sauce to feed me and the family. We all agreed the food was excellent. Will definitely be calling in again on our next visit to Leek. Highly recommended.

Dyers Arms

One of the few pubs in town that doesn't offer food ~ a proper boozer with an excellent Bass ~ roaring fire in the winter months ~ great place to meet before and after a football

The Hare & Gate

Visited the Hare & Gate to attend a family party. I don't live local so it was my first time visiting.The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. They even began to remember my orders of drinks straight away!There is WiFi available at the bar and plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your time there. The drinks were reasonably priced especially compared to other bars I have visited recently.Parking: There is a small car park available outside. It can be difficult to park at more busy times.

The Avenue Fish Bar

Stopped off at this chippy on the way back to depot. The staff are really friendly, the portion sizes are really good, its a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I got the haddock and chips, the fish was really fresh and flaked as you broke through the batter. You got a decent portion of chips with it as well
I'll definitely be dropping off here again, when im working in the area.

I just wanted to take a moment to give a truly heartfelt shoutout to one of the most wonderful bar ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Scarlett From the moment you walk in, she creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.
Her kindness is genuine, her smile is constant, and she somehow manages to remember the little things that make each customer feel special. Whether it’s a perfectly poured drink, a friendly chat after a long day, or just her positive energy behind the bar, she goes above and beyond every single time.
It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes so much pride in what they do while also caring so deeply about the people around them. She’s not just serving drinks—she’s creating an experience, building connections, and making nights out genuinely memorable.
An absolute gem of a person and a huge credit to the place. If you’ve ever been served by her, you’ll know exactly what I mean. ?

Cafe Apollonia

After moving to this town, Cafe Apollonia easily became my favorite go-to. A very kind, family-owned business, the owners even helped me find a job after moving here and being new to everything. Incredible food, comfortable and cozy atmosphere, I'll be always returning :)

The Black Swan

Can't go wrong in the Mucky Duck. Friendly staff, £4-5 a pint, live music over the weekend. Dog friendly. I would say manual wheelchair friendly if you can be lifted in your chair up a step. They don't do food.

The Corner Cupboard

My husband has just brought me my first bap (tuna and sweetcorn) from the corner cupboard. It was a great size bap, very filling and fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend anyone to go here looking for a great snack or something to eat.

Platform 2 Cafe

Excellent sausage barm and carrot cake. Great tea and coffee. All at reasonable prices. Clean cafe. Lots of outside and undercover seating on Platform 2 with views of the trains. Pleasant, polite and helpful staff. Car park and a fairly short walk from the lake. Don't miss out on riding on the narrow gauge trains. Recommended!

The Priory

Such a shame it can't be open! It's a friendly well run spotlessly clean and totally covid safe environment. A big open fire and great service. Let's hope its back in business soon.

Monty's

Whilst there was a communication issue where I didn't get my chips, but the fish was very good. Tasted fresh, plus nice crunchy batter.Next time, I'll write my order down as I think the lady that served me couldn't hear what I said, hence ending up with just fish and no chips. Still great fish tho!Cheers ?

The Green Dragon - JD Wetherspoons

Good atmosphere, staff are helpful, friendly and accommodating. Turned up with a big group and they found us an area to sit and have good. Usual Weatherspoons menu and good value. Nice open fireplace if you can get sat by it!

Coffee Beans Cafe

Our favourite café, stop for lunch if ever we're in Leek. Lovely food, great coffee and a great range of cakes. Staff are polite and friendly, would highly recommend.
