The food and the staff were great but the toys and the play area for the children was very run down and dirty. Toys were broken and filthy and the play area was

This is a great idea. Book a table for 90 minutes and your toddler can enjoy a soft play area while you have a coffee and watch out for the toddler! Simple menu but we didn't eat so can't judge. Extra singalong etc sessions for about 30 mins can be purchased. Friendly staff. Good changing facilities. Venue is relocating sometime soon so check.

Great place for little ones under 4. Far better than the bigger more commercial soft play places. Safer for toddlers and babies, adults can go in to assist but also see the whole play area from their table. Only lost a little star because some of the play equipment could have done with fixing (little tears in the plastic cover revealing foam). However, it was mostly clean and tidy. The food was really tasty too and not just your bog standard pub kids menu type food. Pretty healthy and accommodating of dietary requirements although there were some delicious looking cakes and milkshakes available on the counter too.I saw they offer all sorts of activities for parents and under 4s. Felt like a community atmosphere where the staff are friendly, supportive of parents and their needs as well as being passionate about their place of work. The cafe is a real asset to Lichfield, we travelled from Stafford because there’s nothing like it for under 4s (my niece is a petite 18mth old), I think they should be a chain or franchise, Newcastle under Lyme or Stoke on Trent could really do with a place similar. The staff really deserve all the credit, they made this a very enjoyable and safe activity, we’ll be back.Parking: We ended up using the multi storey on Baker St which had no disabled spaces!!! It is being knocked down so goodness knows where a disabled parent would be able to park. Not Green Frog Cafe’s fault, clearly the council in Lichfield town don’t value equality and disabled people.Kid-friendliness: Designed for little kids, including the menu and bathroom facilities.

Great place. Wish there was something similar nearer to where I live as there’s no soft play areas that are focused on under 4’s, easily accessed by public transport and accessible for parents with mobility issues. The food was very good, fresh and not your typical pub kids menu food! The staff are very friendly and supportive. Parents can go in with the little ones and see them wherever they go in the play area. It’s also got a great community feel with all sorts of classes available. It’s an asset to the town centre where there isn’t a lot else to do for little children. More than a cafe and more than a soft play.

Visited yesterday - first time in about a year and I was disappointed with how it had gone down hill. It used to be busy and buzzing but it was very quiet which surprised me. When we went into the soft play I noticed how much dirtier everything looked and a bit tired. The cleaning needs looking at - it used to be spotless! Also the toilets stank! I know it’s hard with nappy bins but gosh it was smelly - even my toddler was holding her nose in there! The food was good still. The music choices in there were also a bit strange - it’s a kids place but some of the music playing was really dreary. Hope they clean it up a bit in there as it used to be such a lovely place.

Me and my family have been going to the little green fog cafe every Saturday for a long time, it is great space for all the kids and easy for us to sit down catch up and have a coffee. However, they have recently changed their booking system making it really difficult to book, they now require a deposit from all people including babies. As a big group this means we’re paying over £25 for a non-refundable deposit to sit in a small cafe.On our last visit we didn’t add on the 3 babies (all only 6-9 months) as they sit on our laps and do not require their own chair. The staff approached this in a very rude & blunt way showing their age, we also overheard them talking about us which is so unprofessional making us feel uncomfortable and awkward. The atmosphere in there isn’t the same anymore. I think staff need to look at getting customer service training, especially the young girls.I also paid £16 for 2 small coffee’s and two slices of cake which is so overpriced for what it is!Will definitely be looking for somewhere new.

I have only ever heard good things about the little green frog cafe so I thought I would give it a try. When we first went in I was surprised at how small the actual soft play area is. When we went in to play, it was extremely dirty and looked like it hadn’t had a deep clean for a very long time. There were several staff in the kitchen area which you can quite clearly see, as I looked up one young of was sitting on the side, which I don’t think is very hygienic where preparing food. He was sneakily vaping! When he noticed I had seen him doing it he quickly put the vape down. The general cleanliness of the place, high chairs, floors and toilets is disgusting. The chairs and tables are white plastic, the legs on them are filthy, they would just need a quick wipe down but this quite clearly hasn’t been done in a long time! There was no toilet roll in the toilet and someone before me had used blue roll which blocked the toilet and smelt like it had been like that for a while. I will definitely not be returning and I am VERY shocked that this is such a popular place to visit.

As always, another great visit to the little green frog. I've been going here for 8 years since I had my first daughter and now I take my little daughter too. Food is amazing, staff are so friendly and the kids can just play and eat. What more can a child want

Wonderful little cafe and completely safe for toddlers. Felt safe and secure knowing my little one could run around and play in softplay without worrying about big kids pushing and shoving himKid-friendliness: Really kid friendly with softplay and a book corner

We held our daughters 2nd birthday party here and we cannot fault it. The staff could not do enough for us, and left us to enjoy the party. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they went above and beyond to ensure that we all had a good time. We felt that the party was also excellent value for money, given that we had exclusive use of the venue. Parents all enjoyed it as they could relax with their children in eye sight. The food options were also good. I forgot to mention that we had two people with dietary requirements until the morning of the party, and this was dealt with seamlessly, even with a separate party favour for those children. Highly recommend - thank you again! The aircon was also a welcome relief on a very hot day!

My son had his 2nd birthday party here. The whole day and process of booking was so easy! Tina had been so helpful with arranging the party and the extra add ons (disco tent and mascot). I couldn’t recommend the Green Frog for a party enough - everything is done for you (decorations, food, etc). I asked for a completevegetarian buffet which was super. My son had the most wonderful party with his friends! Thank you all!Vegetarian options: Sandwiches, cocktail sausages, vegetable sticks, fruit, cakes, cheese and more!Kid-friendliness: Safe, clean and fun.Dietary restrictions: Caters for vegetarians.

My favourite place to take my little girl. Great food for adults and kids, relaxed atmosphere and my little girl loves it.Since coming here my daughter has started to gain good restaurant manners, with it being a soft play cafe there hasn’t been pressure to keep her still and quiet whilst those skills have been learned. The soft play is fun and safe with a separate area for babies under 1 and a quiet area to read a book to them. The food is fresh and well presented, and as a vegan I am catered for too. It has without a doubt the best kids menu, they even have a weaning platter for babies on the journey of discovering food too.I’ll genuinely be sad when my daughter gets too old for this cafe. A true gem of a place.

We had our son’s first birthday party here today! Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, everything was organised for us, we were able to turn up 5 mins before the party and everything was done! Tina and the staff were brilliant the whole time! Thank you so much!
