Honestly what an incredible restaurant!! We came for the full tasting menu with the additional wine pairings and we’re completely blown away! They just didn’t stop bringing out food! Even the coffees came with a little snack, I had to roll myself out of the place 4 hours later. We got pre dinner snacks and a little chat with big Liam who is very buzzed about his bees outside (and the honey was genuinely the most incredible honey I’ve ever tasted) and then the actual courses started, and EVERYTHING was divine. I’m a fairly fussy eater but my partner is a foodie and we were both looking at each other after every course like wtf how can everything be this delicious?? Like the lick the plate after you’re done delicious!! My personal favourite was the scallops course which you have to add on, but do yourself a favour and treat yourself because it’s actually life changing. my partner enjoyed the smoked aubergine purée despite the fact he absolutely hates aubergine so take from that what you will!! The staff were also all wonderful human beings, personable and asking us what we thought of each course. Our main waiter (sorry I didn’t get anyone’s name) was an absolute delight and made us laugh so much, even told me about the humane way they catch and kill the Squabs so I wouldn’t feel bad about eating pigeon. (I still feel bad about eating pigeon but he was truly funny). And Nick. Wonderful wine wizard Nick. This sweet angel picked seven (is it 7? It felt like they kept coming I’ll be honest) of the most incredible wines we’ve ever had. Each one suited the dish so perfectly and were just incredible. My favourite was the one that smells like melted butter (which shouldn’t be good! But it was insane) and my partner is already scouring the internet for wines from Santorini as they were straight up otherworldly. All this to say, we had the best experience in the boat. The staff, the food, the ambiance, you should get yourself in there and treat yourself. We’ll be back sooner rather than later. And everytime the menu changes with the seasons we’ll be there!! Thank you so much for a wonderful night!

I hadn't visited The Feathers since about 1991 but on Sunday they had a charity live music festival. Great atmosphere, good service and friendly staff. It is set apart by its excellent set up for live music. We went to support our pal in With or Without U2. The first band on. We didn't get to try the food but I am sure we will be back to put that right soon.

This place is very kid friendly and had amazing burgers paired with loaded fries. There was one lady bringing food, but she was friendly and the service was quick. Food was delicious.

If you don’t like the sound of children screaming and being excited, then this isn’t the place for you, but personally I didn’t mind it, it was funny to watch some little ones fight while their parents struggled to break them up. Better than Netflix.

This place really surprised me whilst on a quick walk through of Lichfield.
Went due to the rating for coffee and was not disappointed whatsoever!

Ordered 2x special item coffees, which were both really good, I had the sticky toffee oat milk latte, one of the best coffees I’ve had in some time.
Also had the Pesto eggs, real good quality. But the highlight has to be cakes.
Clearly made fresh, so many niche options. I would say i’m quite fussy but I had issues deciding what to have as they all looked so good. Went for the expresso, banana & cinnamon cake, was great as expected.
Only downside of this place is maybe the sitting arrangement inside, it’s mainly one big table, but I saw on their menu they let the room get fully hired out for events sometimes, so this could be the reason.
Either way, deserve their rating, worth a visit!

I recently visited The Spiritualist and had such an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, the place really impressed us—the décor is absolutely beautiful, stylish, and thoughtfully presented, creating a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy the evening.

The cocktails were truly outstanding—easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Each one was crafted perfectly, full of flavour, and presented to a really high standard. You can tell a lot of care goes into every drink.

The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made everything feel effortless from start to finish.

Overall, it was a fantastic visit and I’d highly recommend The Spiritualist to anyone looking for incredible cocktails, top-quality service, and a stunning setting. I’ll definitely be back!

I had a lovely, well seasoned warming cassoulet topped with sliced local sausage followed by the roast chicken breast on the bone with stuffing. My wife and I visited The Eastern Eye on Monday Evening with a couple of old friends, it is not the first time we have been so we knew what to expect. The girls both knew what they wanted but Terry and myself asked Abdul for a suggestion to help us choose, he certainly came up with the goods; He suggested his Goat Curry in his special sauce, all that I can say is that I have had hundreds of Curries previously in many countries, and can say I have never before had anything that good, the portion size was spot on, the sauce was majestic and the Goat Meat was cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. I had it with a soft Roti, I would recommend this to anybody. We will be back soon to try again, many thanks Abdul and staff, regards, Chris Henson, Lichfield.

I’ve never been here before but after winning a facebook competition where I got £40 to spend on whatever, we booked in for lunch. We did have a bit of miscommunication at the beginning where we had to change our booking day but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and quick to resolve. When we came back there was only us and another party at the bar so service was really quick & food was beautiful. We did receive a free pudding which was delicious and really made our experience of the attentiveness of the staff! Definitely will be coming back!

We were here yesterday for lunch. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant. We put that down to poor weather and the fact that the city centre was quiet. There was a large table that arrived after us.

The service was good and the food was tasty. It felt like it was homemade food and had good flavour. My American partner said it was one of the best Mexican places, for food, he's been to in the UK.

The decor was funky in the restaurant, lots of different artwork around.

Overall we enjoyed our lunch here. Definitely recommend the taco meal for two. It has a good selection of different tacos on there, which you build yourself to your liking.

It’s Clean like properly clean, the use of hairnets by staff doesn’t go unnoticed and is a big winner for me. What a wonderful Chinese takeaway! I discovered this place while visiting my son at the army barracks, having travelled over from York, and I only wish I’d found it sooner.

The salt and pepper spare ribs were absolutely delicious, the sweet and sour chicken soup was packed with flavour, and the chicken satay starters were amazing. The quality of the food was easily on par with restaurant food. One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in a very long time. Definitely worth the trip, and I’ll certainly be back whenever I’m visiting again.

We finally made it to The Plough in Shenstone and it was well worth the wait! The lamb shank was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by plenty of roast potatoes and vegetables. I like a lot of gravy and usually have to ask for more but here we were given our own individual jugs as standard. All the staff were polite and courteous. Definitely will be making a return journey

A proper good boozer and all the negatives are because of its popularity. It can be difficult to get a seat, can be stuffy in winter, can become very crowded and noisy, making conversations difficult. Against this is a very well stocked bar, 8 ales, pretty glasses, efficient and friendly service, good cheer and a good pint of Guinness.

No food, except bar snacks, severl tvs for Sky sports (but its far from being a sports bar) and sheltered beer garden. Overall, it's the model local and reminds me a lot of how busy pubs got in the 80s.

This is the BEST in Lichfield. I am on holiday and exploring all chippies in the area before returning back to Inverness , Netherstowe chip shop has understood what people want finally!

I had beautiful chips , golden with a slight crunch on the top layer and soft on the bottom..... Haddock so fresh the bright white flakes shine , and the battery is thin yet outstanding.

Service was accompanied by a smile and the fryer had a lovely kind heartedness .

I most definitely will go back before I need to go home .

Honestly, you would think this was at Whitby. Well done Netherstowe! The chippy of Lichfield that has NO competition

I don't live in lichfield anymore but always travel here, its my favourite chip shop, nice and clean, staff always friendly, good size portions. And I love the battered chips.

the 3 of us ordered from here for the first time in a very long time, and I have to say everything was perfect! It came nice and hot, cheesy chips were cooked to perfection, chicken and chicken burgers were just delicious and so was the popcorn chicken a absolute 10/10

Love wetherspoons but today wasn't great I ordered a vegetarian meal and a meat version of the same meal was served , I did take it back to the bar and the staff said sorry but that's what you ordered and pointed to the screen on the wall saying look that's your order, I ordered at the bar, I believe they tapoed on the wrong meal, anyway I was left with nothing as no replacement or help, sat there watching my friend eat and offering her chips, anyway I did ask to speak to manager who was at the bar and she was brilliant and I did get my veggie meal ? ? thankyou very much to that lovly lady xx

Kevin! You absolute star!
Our order was delivered wrong accidentally - we're all human, mistakes happen.
I phoned and how Kevin dealt with the situation was second to none, I couldn't have asked for better customer service.
Kevin was immediately apologetic, he resolved the issue in seconds and was polite and friendly throughout.
I only wish every company we ordered takeaway from was this good!!
Dominoes!!! Kevin is an absolute credit to you.

The whole interior has been refurbished and it seems much brighter than before. There are more seats and the general flow is improved. Happily the staff are still the same and as wonderful as ever.
It is a credit to the team here that they have managed to create a really family vibe in a location that is really just a featureless retail park.
