Always chilled and ways busy when you expect it too. Food is never slow and never bad. Toilets are not a 5 day hike away.

Visited this place on boxing day asxwexwere in Lichfield. Not very busy when we were there. Ordered 1 x jalfrezi and 1 x all day brunch. The meals took ages to come and when they finally arrived the waitress said sorry but the wrong curry was prepared. That meant the rest of our meals had been standing in the kitchen going cold. The curry was nice and hot but everything else was just luke warm. Luke warm. Chips, bacon, eggs. The nan bread was cold. The nice young man who served us was very polite and efficient while the two young ladies serving were work shy. Only interested in the on screen orders. There were several uncleared tables waiting for someone to collect stuff and clean them. This is why it took ages to get served even though it was not very busy. If it gets busy in here stand by for a long wait. The menus are a bit grotty and need a clean. The ladies toulet is a bit worn and needs a revamp. The mens toilets were OK. Overall not a great Spoons. Very average at best. Would not rush back to eat here again.

Went here with students from work before seeing a show at the garrick. The service was absolutely amazing, the staff were so lovely and helpful. We were a massive group and all our food came out perfect , in great timing and all tasted amazing!! Special shout out to Chris for everything you did for us! We can't wait to come back

One of the better Wetherspoons we have been to. Food was prepared and served quickly. Only scored lower than I would have wanted because there were lots of free table when we arrived but they all had finished dinner plates and glasses etc on them which remained until the time we finished our meal. I think they just need another member of staff to clear the tables but then I understand they may have been short on staff that day due to the unforeseen.

Absolutely shocking service,The “manager” short guy brown hair blue shirt, cross earring in his one ear on shift was down right rude and his colleague brown hair glasses black top when we ordered our meal we asked for the table to be cleaned which it wasn’t, one of us ordered a fudge cake with no option for it to be served after the meal was told we had to have it there and then or not at all we asked for their names to be told I don’t have to give you them, 13-12-2023 at 12:52 table 40 I would like this investigating, no apology nothing just really rude customer serviceThis is disgusting I work in this industry and would never treat a customer like we have been treated today

Visited today Friday Dec 8th during Christmas shopping trip.I had a curry/rice and the other half had a breakfast. Both excellent.We commented whilst we were visiting how all the staff were cheerful and helpful. Thanks for a lovely lunch everyone, the pub had a lovely atmosphere, and we noticed that you had put up Christmas decorations ???

Visited yesterday, 2 out of 3 coffee machines out of order, tables piled with dirty plates, ladies toilet needs a good clean (better still an overhaul) pub generally grimy!But staff are surly, rude and slapdash, no decent manager would condone this behaviour.Pity for such a lovely city, could be a gold mine!

Just called in before we went to nearby Restaurant. The beer prices are great generally 2.77 per pint and I noticed one Ruddles beer at 1.77 per pint which is brilliant.I had the Directors bitter which was excellent.Overall very impressed.No queuing at the bar we were served very quickly.I had not visited this place previously.Seating near Christmas tree was ideal for six of us.
We just had drinks in here with friends a very popular pub hard to get a seat so perched on high stools.drinks great price good service.toilets were clean too.family friendly late Saturday afternoon we visited .Wheelchair accessibility: On the flat through the doors

Always a great place to go for drinks and food. The bar person (libby) was amazing very professional and friendly happy to help even when she wasn't serving me. I will be returning for sure great work keep it up

2 out 3 coffee machines not working. Tables not cleared of dirty plates etc. Ladies toilets filthy,need an update. Whole pub needs deep clean. Staff are rude, surly and lazy, one stood in front of me at bar and didn't even ask what I wanted!...this shows poor management for condoning this sort of behaviour. Been coming here for years, not any more!

Visited at busy midweek lunchtime, service was fast and friendly, food was served quickly and to usual high standard. Toilets were clean and well maintained.
