Popped in for a snack to keep us going, (nachos platter to share, three times cooked chips and battered gherkins. Yum!) oh and a pint or two ;-)One thing I noticed that other pubs don't upkeep, were clean tables! Lovely atmosphere and interior
There are quite a few pubs in Lichfield centre and I only comment on the best the Pig is another one I really like it, it has a great selection of beer and all. Never been there at night but believe it would be amazing.

Last May the railways were offering really cheap days out, so chose to travel to Lichfield which we had always wanted to visit. The choice of places to eat is limited as we did not want Thai food or a chain so we were very pleased to come across this nice pub. We were not disappointed . We both had Guinness to drink and one of us had beef cottage pie and the other beef pappardelle. Portions were generous, service good and they even played decent music. We ate outside.
