The food is always delicious and cooked perfectly. I would prefer the cauliflower cheese abit softer but still yummy. And roast parsnips should be all year round ?. That's all! Staff are always lovely and welcoming. I try to visit most weeks.Parking: Well kept carpark, plenty of spaces, including disabled spaces next to entrance.

Food and service great as always, we visit every year when we come over from Canada for Christmas!Only slight issue was miscommunication/ misunderstanding about a kids menu item with our server and the Carvery Chef but all good in the end!

We were in a group from work of about 20 of us. We were seated quickly. The food was good and plenty of it.The staff were attentive and polite.Vegetarian options: There was two options on the menu, but the vegetarian in our group was able to have an enjoyable meal from the selection accompanying the roast dinners.

I thought the service was brilliant, I dont quite understand how it was fully booked as it was yet there were no queues, this was brilliant however you did this, there were bigger queues on a normal day so I put my hands together ?? for however this was done. The service from the staff was lovely, the food was amazing, the meats were unreal, I have never had so much good meat, not one piece wasn't delicious, I walked out needed to be carried as I couldn't stop eating as it was so good. Very organised, very welcoming, my only negative was I think we were sat in the children's area and as we were 3 adults I think we should have been sat elsewhere, but this wasn't a problem, except we were placed underneath a large TV with children's films that was so loud we couldn't hear each others conversations, so we asked if the tv could be turned down and my father said he saw them lower the sound but barely. This was a shame as everything else was perfect.

A massive thank you to Sonia and the team. Each and every time we attend we are greeted with such warmth and kindness. Breakfast is always a good meal to have here.

Arrived at 10:00am (ish), placed order fairly quickly (including veggie sausage) but at the counter, no bread for toaster, no butter (had to wait and request) and no beans or tomatoes available (wait again). Fried eggs were dry. Had to wait (& ask) for veggie sausage but were eventually told veggie sausage not available. Not a great experience but the veggie brekky was refunded.

Came in for breakfast last minute, warm welcome from Sonia, who couldn't do enough for us, and is a true credit the company.Had delicious food, absolutely no complaints. Would definitely come back.

Had to wait 20 minutes for our booked table, 20 minute queue for food during which time our drinks managed to become warm at the table, table is clearly in what used to be a walkway as poor lighting and in people's way. There is no real waiting area before being seated as so many people were waiting. Clearly overbooked.

It's always busy here on a Sunday and the queues are long. Staff aren't the friendliest. They are always rushed off of their feet and some can be quite blunt. This isn't the cleanest of places either. I have been a few times and tables and highchairs aren't cleaned properly, even when

Today's experience wasn't great. The area where you get your veg looked like a load of toddlers had a food fight. No Yorkshire puddings, with at least a 15 minute wait and a massive queue so no chance of getting one later unless you want cold food. The attitude of one of the carvers was appalling. The beef and lamb was so fatty and full of grisal. Even the gammon nearly broke my tooth with a boney type chunk in it.The only saving grace for this place was the waitress who went to get our son replacement meat because his was inedible and was incredibly helpful. She gets 5 stars but the service score is affected by the carvers bad attitude. At £3-£4 more expensive on a Sunday for nothing more than an extra meat choice (but nothing actually extra) I won't be rushing back to any Toby, especially this one

We were booked in for 14.10. We didn't get a table untill 14.45.The whole place was chaotic. The guy at the front desk was under pressure. As a result, manners politeness and a smile were none existent. The dinner itself was OK for the meat eaters. I'm a veggie. The melt that I chose was reasonably nice. But not worth the money I paid. It was miniscule. The apple strudel was nothing like I've tasted before. It was essentially a Yorkshire pudding with apple sauce poured into it. It was discusting.

Was recommended to us.Very busy helpful staff quickly had our table, order taken and starters arrived very quickly. Food very tasty and correct, carvery, salmon and veggies all hot and tasty with plenty of choices. Not all sweet's available but waitress suggested other options. Everyone enjoyed the food and will be returning in the future.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable choicesParking: Busy but some spaces available

We visited for breakfast, the pub is decorated beautifully allReady for Christmas and the food was amazing but above all that the customer service from Sonia was brilliant, service with a smile. Although she was busy she was attentive to all the customers with a quick service. Sonia is an asset to your team!
