Brilliant service! Great atmosphere! Especially in the Beer Garden! I haven't visited the Bear for 'donkey's years' but I was rather surprised! At first, it felt like I had just walked into a Working Men's Club! The bartender was absolutely friendly and served me without a flinch! You see...I'm an INDIAN ordering a PINT followed by another! Now that's a rarity!We just stayed for drinks before a meal ?

Visited this pub for first time the other day, excellent pint of carling, did'nt have any food, but john & sam are great hosts, can' wait to go again. Also excellent price.
