Best carvery in Stafford by far. Maggie is lovely and welcoming on the carvery, Chelsey is the same in the bar and around the venue. Fab choice of veg on the carvery too, and HUGE Yorkshire puddings!!! Free play area for children to use, god send with kids that won’t sit still! Highly recommend.

We were served a carvery today by a lovely lady called Maggie. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. Would definitely recommend and we will be going again.

Unfortunately the person behind the bar was extreemly rude, which I find unacceptable. We only asked for a bottle of prosecco! The food was ok, it's fairly reasonbly priced.

The service and food here was great, the two of us had carvery’s which were wonderful and the meat was cooked perfectly. Charlotte really looked after us on this day, she brought us a fresh set of cutlery as well as asking if we wanted anything else after our meals which we thought was lovely! The rest of the team are also amazing, they are all very welcoming and you can tell that they really want to help.

Woman at till had the most awful customer service, practically threw my drink at me, drink was practically water and half full. I usually enjoy the experience here however it was awful today. I understand your busy but no need to disrespect customers. Also the speed bump coming into the place was broken think you may need to sort it before it damages three ???

Matt and his team did an amazing job at arranging our group of childminders a visit with Santa, lunch and play at the Wacky. Everything was brilliant, the children had such a great time. Santa was fantastic and the children lived him. The food was great, the staff were lovely. Lovely morning making memories. Many

I came with a party of 20 for my mother in laws 81st birthday. It was booked in advanced so you would think that where we were put, it would be clean but it wasn't. We had to ask for it to be cleaned before we could order our meals. Most of the party had carveries and seemed to enjoy them but myself and my partner decided to have something off the menu. When our meals came out, my meal was cold and it was covered in sweet chilli sauce after asking for tartar sauce as I don't like sweet chilli. I went to complain and was left at the bar for a good 10 minutes as the manager was busy on the phone, but when she did come she didn't look Happy and I felt like I had been an inconvenience for complaining. I eventually got a refund but it spoilt the event and felt so embarrassed as to how I was treated. It was not my fault and I won't he going there again. I suggest you treat your customers with more respect as you will slowly lose them.Very disappointed!

Hmmm, not really sure. Was quiet, the staff are friendly, polite. The carvery however has room for improvement. Roasties where dry, withered, possibly had been out for too long or over cooked. Not the best I've had from a green king.

Was in the area for Christmas shopping so dived in to get some breakfast.Nice atmosphere and was welcomed in by polite staff on the bar but that's where it took a turn.Ordered a breakfast with a pot of tea... £2.40 for a pot you can just about squeeze a cups worth out of.Shortly after it arrived I'd noticed the cup was quite grubby and hadn't been washed to a great incredibly well and then if that wasnt bad enough I peered into the milk jug only to find that it too was filthy and had bits floating in it.Peering into the pot it was absolutely disgusting and albeit slightly stained it clearly hadn't been washed in sometime as gently wiping my finger across it exposed the white surface. At this point the buyers remorse set in as we patiently waited on the food we had ordered. When it came out the bacon was burnt and the sausages undercooked, toast as hard bread left out for a week. It didn't get any better because while eating I crunched on what I thought was initially an egg shell, as I made a second chew I chipped my toothe in something really hard and brittle like hard plastic or glass. At that point I stopped and took my complaint to the duty manager. After a few short moments they arrived and guaranteed me that it wasn't glass and that it was the egg itself because it was cooked in such a way it forms a hard outer plastic type substance.I simply requested the money back for the food as peering into my partner's food hers was coated in mushrooms that were covered in dirt (she had the veggie breakfast). All in all it was a poor show and and the place is clearly lacking in the cleanliness department. As for the tooth, I'll reach out to Greene King because I'm not happy and the DMs assurances were I'll advised.
