Brilliant family run pub with n the heart of Penkridge village. Whether you want a quiet pint in a comfortable armchair next to a roaring fire or a lively night out listening to live music this is the place to go. The bar staff are always welcoming and most importantly the real ales are well kept with a variety of choice!

Wow! The Star! What a lovely little pub. Visited here on a couple of occasions, once when there was live music on and what a great atmosphere it was. The landlady just can't do enough! The bar snacks are more than just bar snacks, the beers good and the staff are lovely, very friendly and nothing is too much. Will deffo be visiting again soon.
