We went for a late valentine dinner on Saturday. The service was fantastic - can’t fault it. Our waitress was lovely - really friendly, chatty and attentive but not ott.We were disappointed that there was no rose prosecco and this wasn’t mentioned until we tried to order a bottle.The food we ordered was fine. But that’s just it - for the price of it - it was only “fine”. When we got the bill we said to each other for that cost we could have had much better food elsewhere. We wouldn’t return for food.Food & drinks: Drinks are good. They’re expensive. But nice cocktail list and the bar is lovely for drinks. It’s also good you can take dogs with you.

Room a little tired. I would say at my time of staying they were understaffed as they was an unacceptable wait on most things. However the staff were very friendly.

We had a very nice meal. (Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms). Food was lovely and the bar restaurant area are really chilled out and have a great atmosphere. The staff were very polite and helpful. The car park is a bit tricky to find, especially when it's dark, but we found it at a couple of wrong turns. If you are staying or having a meal the staff give you a token so you don't need to pay for parking.
