We had our works night out here and apart from a slight delay in food arriving the food was extremely good, well priced and the staff were very accomodating. Will no doubt visit again.

When we visited at 2pm it wasn't packed to the rafters and service was good. The roast meat was a generous portion and I had beef and turkey. The meat was tender, moist and flavoursome. The roast potatoes were also lovely. They were crispy and tasted nice. Also the Yorkie puds were crispy and tasted fine. What wasn't so good was the cauliflower cheese. The cauliflower was tender but the sauce didn't taste right, it was just about okay as a small portion Also the potato gratin come mash in a sauce did not taste nice and I left it on my plate. There's only one gravy sadly which is vegetarian. It did not taste great and cow-tows to the vegetarians. Please can we have a meat-eaters gravy which has lots of flavour?? The brussel sprouts didn't look good and were just about okay. The root mash and peas were fine. Overall the roast meal was Good BUT NOT Excellent On that basis I would think about coming again if some of the issues I raised were addressed!!

We booked the Boxing Day mealOur table was booked for 2.45. When we got there it was half past 2. We were told to wait in the bar area. The front desk guy said our table was ready and once getting there he told us there was NO Boxing Day menu left.I feel he could of told us when we arrived so we didn’t order bottomless drinks for our meal. There was No apology from himNot happy at allWe had no foodNo serviceI will not be going there again

We held our works Christmas meal with this venue. The staff themselves were attentive, very hard working, and did an amazing job, there was a couple of meal options that were requested to be changed, and nothing was too much trouble for our waiter and waitress. The food was also very lovely. The manager, on the other hand, could do with some training in hospitality ?. The manager was notified at the start of the meal that there were some unforseen cancelations and rather rudely expresed her dissapointment to the other 19 paying customers and kept commenting throughout the night, using comments like "its ridiculous" which made it uncomfortable when she approached the table and when we went to pay. Later she also called out a young girl for a mistake made at the till in front of a queue of customers waiting to pay, we found her very unpleasant and unprofessional and if it was not for her I would have reviewed our experience much higher. To the lovely staff, thank you for your hard work.To the manager, maybe consider a change in your career to one where people skills are not required?

Had The Festive menu and very nice it was too. Thank you to Imogen for serving us. My husband has a brain injury and was struggling to his seat. A lovely lady asked if he would be better with a chair with arms. She very kindly fetched him one. I’m sorry I didn’t her name. Thank you very much.

Family Christmas Dinner. The food was lovely but it was the friendly staff that made the afternoon even better. The girls who took our orders and looked after our table did a great job ?

Even with a gas leak and the grills not working, the food was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Service was so relaxed and friendly. All the difficulties were explained and I think his name was Nathan .... was so kind. Helped us to register our cars for parking. Certainly would go back.Parking: Didn't know we had to register until we were leaving. Nathan helped us

We had lovely food in large quantities. They could perhaps do better with veg on the plate rather than charging extra for a 'side' of large quantities.Service was a little slow but effective.Parking: There are plenty of spaces but the entrance is very hard to find. it is very poorly signed and, having missed it, it took a significant time and mileage to find it....even using Google maps and what three words.
