We were at this harvester tonight 3 Adults and 3 children under 5 , our waitress was KELLY and she was fantastic with the kids while being professional anybody who has Kelly as their server will have an enjoyable experience. The wait was longer than normal but it was extremely busy but when the food came it was piping hot and delicious . I highly recommend and will be back.

Dined here last night for the first time. Wow. What an experience. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Nothing was to much trouble. The attention to detail in the service gives it that fine dining experience and the atmosphere and decor tie in lovely with that. The food is out of this world and wouldn’t hesitate in returning. Just had a lovely walk-in experience at Miso. We are local to the area and have wanted to come here for ages - it did not disappoint! We ordered the salt and pepper squid and octopus balls (Takoyaki) for starters. These were delicious and delightfully presented. For mains, I tried the “Japanese fried chicken” (Karaage) bento box, and my partner had roast duck ramen. Both were exceptional. On the quality of the food alone, we’d be back!

However - special mention to our fantastic, attentive and sweet host. Incredibly friendly and really made our evening. Excellent service.

Overall, our meal for 2 with 4 beers came to £60 - and we are stuffed! And that was with a bubble tea for my girlfriend too. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a takeaway Lamb curry with garlic nan. Sauce was medium heat and rich. Lamb was lean and tender. A friend of mine, never having been to the restaurant, tried it and has booked in for a meal. Never let down.

Mantra Indian Restaurant And Bar

We went to Mantra for a late lunch and had a great experience. We ordered saag aalu, kadhayi paneer, chana masala with garlic naan and vegetable biryani. We found the food very delicious and couldn't stop eating even when we were full! ? We ended up coming back in a few hours to pickup some more for dinner.

Amazing Christmas Day meal at Kismet Hartshill; such friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere with great Christmas songs on. The tastiest curry and great value for money. Thank you for our Christmas curry dinner it was incredible!

Absolutely amazing, so cosy and homely. The food is beautiful, best bacon and sausage I’ve tasted in a very very long time. We came yesterday for my Mums birthday breakfast and we will certainly be back. The food tasted amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We changed the booking twice because my brother and then niece decided to join us and each time we were met with open arms with no amount of changes always being accommodated. We came early before the doors officially opened yet we were still made to feel very welcome and served immediately. The customer service was out of this world. The coffee was perfect. All done for amazing prices too! I know I speak for us all and especially my Mum who really enjoyed it all. Thank you, thank you thank you! We will definitely be back soon and I’m bringing my little family with me.

I'm a pasta lover and it's been a while since I've had really good Italian food. We went here and it was quite busy but the good was amazing. The mains were delicious and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I do recommend booking ahead of time. We will definitely be back again.

Came here for a birthday meal, I would say around 14 of us, the pub was lovely looking and had a great atmosphere. I had ordered the Beef Pie and it was one of the nicest things I've ever tasted! I would definitely visit here again!

Myself, my partner and daughter have just been here for a Sunday carvery. We didn’t book a table and they were fully booked so we sat in the bar area. Whilst we were waiting in the queue for the carvery there were a few customers complaining about the mash potato running out which the man serving the carvery told me there was a problem with the steamer and is trying his best but still people were complaining. We were happy to go without but it did come out within minutes anyway so wasn’t a real issue at all. We loved the food and was very good value for money with or without mashed potato

My wife and I enjoyed a really nice Tuesday Steak Experience at Ego Stockton Brook. Apart from the food which was top notch (the sirloin was cooked to perfection) we were looked after extremely well by Charlotte who was friendly, attentive and who was able to give us just enough time to make our evening special. At the end of the meal I was pleased to tell her that she would make a wonderful daughter!

Went for a dinner with my friends and the place was amazing. The food had an authentic Indian taste with spices in right amounts. The best one was the mixed veg chat platter which had the best of some of the awesome Indian snacks.Overall - A must try place for Indian food lovers

Had another amazing takeaway meal from our favourite restaurant - Roti in Biddulph! The food is always top notch - the best currys ever! Super quick delivery service by the amazing Cathy too! This restaurant is owned by the most welcoming, friendly, thoughtful, professional, warm family who have always looked after us. I am unable to walk to the restaurant at the moment due to a broken back, and the owner sent us 2 x drinks with our takeaway meal. Such a generous, kind gesture. You will not find a better restaurant/takeaway! They are faultless in every way! Thank you for your continued amazing food, service and friendship. Xx

I'm just enjoying a nice day in Stoke on trent and stumbled over this gem of a pub. A lovely atmosphere here, good choice of beers and spirits. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Any person visiting Stoke to give it a go. Just a short walk from the train station. A good old-fashion pub. Give a go if you don't like go to another pub.

Travellers Rest

Love the Travs, Hayley and all the staff are really friendly, not been in since about 1992 until this year and it still as a proper charm about the place, drinks are cheap and it’s the best pint of Stella around!! 5* all the way for this cracking little pub, can’t recommend enough!

Four of us travelled up to visit Proctor's Nursery which is just down the road and initially wanted a coffee after over an hours drive up from our homes.

The pub had just opened for lunch and the menu looked interesting on what was a cold day so we decided to eat here. What a great choice! All meals home cooked and really tasty. Real value for money and pleasant surroundings. The chap behind the bar who served us was really helpful and looked after us without being intrusive.

There was certainly nothing left of the three steak pies and scampi that we had. Really enjoyable, tea and coffee good as well.

Will seriously look to visit here again on our next visit to Proctor's. Big thank you to the cook and the man in the bar.

Buffet Fever is the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever been to. The selection available is incredible, and would suit any palate. If you do come here (and you really should), you medically NEED to try the Satay Sauce! It is by far the best sauce of its' kind that you will find in Staffordshire. It has such an incredible range of flavours. Be kind to yourselves as soon as you can, and come and give this place a try.

Friendly staff who were very helpful. Yet very limited selection of drinks so no child friendly drinks available and then there was also no straws either. Bins were all full and tables were dirty. Felt like the place hadn't been cleaned properly and we were at the restaurant at lunchtime.No parking nearby so available to walk from local car parks. Feels like the store needs a bit of TLC.There was a toilet available.Sandwiches were OK!

The Ember Lounge

This pub on the Staffordshire University campus has a cool, student vibe. The atmosphere is great, mostly filled with young people and students. They’ve got some decent food and snacks to go with your drinks, plus fun stuff like a pool table. The staff are super friendly and nice. Overall, it’s a solid spot to hang out. Definitely recommend!

Great good, great staff, clean and professional environment. I had a large mixed kebab on naan bread with salad and chilli sauce w/sweetcorn relish. Very tasty and the chicken kebab was juicy and tasty. I highly recommend this kebab house. I also tried the donner meat and lamb kebab meat and both were absolutely delicious and hot when served. The staff and talkative and friendly and served me my food only 10 minutes after I ordered in store. Large mixed kebab on naan was £9.50 and the large chicken kebab on naan was £8.10

Pricing is pretty reasonable given the quality of the ingredients and the size of the portion. I highly recommend Flaming Grill Kebebs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Parking: I parked on the road directly opposite the takeaway. The kerb was too high for me to park directly outside the takeaway.

Yew Tree Inn (Cauldon)

What an absolute treasure trove, a feast for the eyes. You have to go. The landlord Alan has been collecting antiques and collectibles for 63 years. Including a 3000 year old Egyptian jug and a pair of stocking, which once belonged to queen Victoria. A warm welcome and pastries are served at the bar. It's a must visit.

Visited yesterday just for a quick one, it's unusual for me not to be driving so thought we'd make the most of it.
11:30ish (am) but quite busy, proper old school boozer.
Served quickly and found a quiet spot to sit and take in our surroundings.
There's definitely a core of hardened regulars, laughing joking and sharing.

One lady left her purse in the disabled toilets and one of the regulars who want in as she came out called her back to get it.

Not bad prices on the drinks and people were taking their own food in (as I've seen in some of the old school boozers I regularly frequent.)

Somewhere I'd not hesitate to visit again if in the area and not driving but not somewhere I'd make a special effort to visit.

They got the best Afghan food ,very authentic ,just the restaurant could be improved a little ,it looks rusty and not nice ..but the food is so so delicious ,my favorite

We had a lovely meal thank you. Our table was waiting just as I requested on the booking system, quieter and easy access for elderly parents in law. The waitress Lilley-Mai was very polite, attentive and smiley. Bar staff were professional and quick to serve. The manager was very supportive in explaining how to sign up for future offers. Had a fish, chips, peas & curry sauce take away while staying on the nearby caravan site.
Gorgeous fish with crispy batter, lots of chips, proper mushy peas & very tasty curry sauce. Staff were friendly.
Will definitely use again when staying in the area.

Really lovely! The pub looks great, super pleasant staff and the Indian food was beautiful. We couldn’t believe 3 drinks and 3 curries with a side of rice each came to only £35! Bargain!! Can’t wait to come back.

I often eat here with my family of 2 adults and 4 children. great home.cooked food and prices. the steak pie is a firm favourite one of the best pies I've had. Lisa and the bar staff are always welcoming and kitchen always run off the feet. highly recommended.

Half way around Trentham garden lake, you find the Lakeside cafe and what a lovely cafe.Teddy bear , Maple ? and Tilly ? the Corgi's just love the Lakeside cafe for a stop for a bacon ????? roll.The coffee ????? good here to nice and hot, we have oat milk and milk for are coffee vegan coffee a must ☕☕☕☕☕.You can outside or inside dogs are welcomed.

Biddulph Café

Absolutely spot on food. We had set menu 2 and set menu 3. It's nice to see they use proper tea bags and proper size mugs as well. The only criticism I can say is the food was that hot I had to wait a couple mins for it to cool down which isn't a bad thing at all. Definitely going again for our full English. Thank you.
