Stopped by after a walk, it was very busy so sat outside which was nice as there’s a lot of seating to choose from. Food was excellent would definitely come back if in the area.

GOLDEN KEG

Amazing food and great service. The staff could not do enough for us and repeatedly asked us if there was anything else we needed and if everything was okay.Another table near to us unfortunately complained about the wait time despite only ordering 20 minutes before, the staff dealt with this amazingly and it is unfortunate that the other table didn’t wait to have the great food! We are always happy for the short wait time for freshly cooked quality food!

Shoulder of Mutton

The food and service are second to none. Mr. had steak pie and I had the gammon. Clearly, it was all freshly cooked and delicious. Highly recommend. Having moved from Swynnerton and the Fitzherbert Arms, we were worried we’d be missing out. Instead, we think The Shoulder of Mutton is actually better!

Dog friendly which was excellent for us. Hubby REALLY enjoyed his curry said the best he'd ever had so a 10. All the other food was good too. Made very welcome. Took a bit to get some water for the table but got there on the 3rd ask, but the girls were lovely & nice & cosy by the fire.

Our first time here, delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, take away tubs to bring home leftovers! Duck bento was lovely and the roast pork on the ramen was so tender and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Sister booked us a table for my birthday...19th March... 1st impressions was wow..What a beautiful place...We were seated, and to my surprise next to us there was a dog..( obviously with 2 ladies ) .With a dog bed, water bowl... Food was lush, waitress very attentive..It was a lovley place to eat...Decor was fantastic...As we left I noticed all the wooden dog beds stacked up....and a barrel of Pawsecco....?

Staff were very good. But sadly the food let them down had a family meal festival menu food was cold and no taste to it. i had salmon but the source was cold there was a Yorkshire pudding and gravy on same plate with roast potatoes which were also cold. Cheese board was dry sent it back. Not a good experience all told.wont be going again

We thought we would give it a try after seeing all the wonderful reviews. We weren't disappointed. The food we had was amazing. We were served quickly, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, and cooked to perfection. We eat curries a lot and I must say they were the best we've ever had. We will definitely be calling again.

Before we start, I would go there again.The staff are wonderful, there is a good menu to choose from and a good drinks selection, including some really nice zero/ low alcohol options.My starter was OK, the better half had a better one. It wasn't far off, but wasn't quite there.Both our mains were superb, they know how to do fish well.The dessert, which was apple tart, was not to our liking.I like Sultanas, the better half does not. The amount piled on top of the apple entirely swamped the apple, to the point you could barely taste it. The named ingredient should be at least detectable.We both really enjoyed the surroundings and the experience, and we will try it again.

Huxleys at Hoar Cross Hall

Me and my friend stayed here for one night with the spa package. We had a 3 course dinner, breakfast and a 3 course lunch. Cons: Our room looked like it hadn't been hoovered as there were crumbs and a crisp by the bed! The pillows in the room were very lumpy. The cutlery and glasses were dirty, I scraped something off that was stuck on my spoon. The waitress we had at dinner wasn't great as she was quite pushy when offering a side (supplement charge). For breakfast we weren't given a teaspoon to stir our tea. Pros: Room very stylish with decor, lovely size and bathroom lovely too. The room had lots of amenities Loved the eco friendly toiletries. The bed was super comfortable. Staff very friendly! Overall great stay would recommend!

Calm, attentive staff, small selection of food but tasted good. Not able to book, just turn up, no problems. Enjoyable experience. Would recommend that anyone staying at Alton towers hotel/pods/enchanted village, to go for dinner there rather than secret garden, much more enjoyable.

I can honestly say this is the best McDonald's in Stoke, always super clean in here and never have to wait long for food unless super busy. The staff are lovely here as well, really friendly and always make you feel welcome. The only McDonald's I actually enjoy going to in our area, we purposely travel to this branch.

Went here over the weekend pretty late in the evening, and it took around 20 minutes to get our food even though when we arrived there was only a couple of customers in front of us, I had seen our order ready for a while, but the staff seemed more bothered about getting the drive through orders and delivery orders done before the customers inside.

The service here was very good, Charlie was so nice, yes I'm sure she was on some sort of customer satisfaction drive but hey it worked. Clean McDonald's, convenient car park but very small. Basically everything is convenient. When there is a small traffic you have to wait for a very long time. The staff is sometimes a bit unresponsive, but this is the problem of all McDonald's in England.

The Wild Oatcake at Goldenhill

Ordered from here via Foodhub, restaurant didn’t receive the order so we called & the staff here went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Will be using their own website in future, food was lovely as always! Not had a bad meal from here, highly recommend ?

This is an authentic Chinese take-away / fish and chip shop. They have been there for decades and it hasn’t changed. The food is always done to an excellent standard and is not as expensive as many.

Absolutely LOVE this starbucks at smallthrone, there is a very nice friendly man that works there, really nice bubbly personality and speaks to everyone amazingly. I love this starbucks with him working here - it's what all coffee places should be

A great little pub just 5 minutes from Alton Towers. The food was delicious and the service was top notch, would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting the area.

Golden Delight - Desserts, Milkshakes, Pizzas & Kebabs

Food really nice to be fair. Only disappointment was the time it took (about 45 minutes) but more importantly the temperature of the food. Judging by the tracker it seemed like they had way too many stop starts on the route and therfore the food was barely warm. Will still order again though as it was still nice. Just could be better. Has the potential to!

On my visit to this branch of McDonald's, I placed my order at the till as opposed to the touch screens. My friends ordered via the touch screen & one requested table service. All our food was hot, fresh & I very much enjoyed a little treat for me, that is McDonald's.

Friendly staff who were very helpful. Yet very limited selection of drinks so no child friendly drinks available and then there was also no straws either. Bins were all full and tables were dirty. Felt like the place hadn't been cleaned properly and we were at the restaurant at lunchtime.No parking nearby so available to walk from local car parks. Feels like the store needs a bit of TLC.There was a toilet available.Sandwiches were OK!

During our visit today, the employee named DIANE was very positive, very polite and very caring. He had us test the products. He gave information about the products. Thank you so much DIANE????The store is very clean and well organized????? The employees are friendly and polite.A small but cute store in the bazaar.Their teas are delicious and light?????Their hot chocolate is amazing.?????There are many options. It is ideal to receive as a gift. I tried Strawberry & Watermelon and liked the taste.We left the store satisfied?????Thank you very much DIANE :)))

Buffet Fever

Visit today was good. Got there for opening time but couldn't believe it was our 5 and about another 10 people. Was shocked for a Saturday, but it could be the time of year. Food was nice fresh apart from Mini spring rolls, and the coke was terrible worse than Pepsi. More like rola cola your mum used to buy at the supermarket. Hence, the 4 stars and not 5. Many cameras gave the impression they had a lot of trouble there. There were actually more cameras than the last time I was there. Staff were pleasant, not going out of their way but not meithering you either. I prefer this. Iv never had the experience that some others have had, but I do give myself at least an hour to eat before closing because I don't need to be babysat and understand what closing time means. So at 12 today when they opened I was there. I gave myself plenty of time and some extra time if needed before they closed again at 2.30. Price is £10.80 for adults and about 4 quid for children. Not everything is available for lunch. I'm not sure of night time price.Parking: Limited park in front of building but lots more next door for matalan, argos and poundland. Parking is free.

Been using these guys for a while friendly helpful staff on the phone , delivery drivers are lovely and the price isn't bad for the food you get I don't understand the low ratings we had the curry deal for 2 last night, me and my friend and it was great value for 19.99 only problem to be honest was the onion bhaji was abit greasy but I think thats because they were in with the chicken tikka starter so maybe it was off the chicken and mixed veg but like I say every order we've had it's been spot on and considering it was Saturday night it arrived in under half an hour and it was hot and delicious.See you again soon guysLove respect and all the best from Chris at 84 in Fenton ?.

Just one bite into my main and side and I could tell that flaming grill is all about the seasoning, and I loved it.You often find that some currys and side dishes end up tasting bland, almost like they’re missing something, but the right amount of seasoning can really make a difference.There were many things that stood out to me instantly, and that was the right amount of spice and heat in each dish.Okay, we need to take a minute to give the sides the credit they deserve, because they were nothing short of amazing.A choice of in house dips made on-site, rice and chips seasoned to perfection.We will most definitely be returning 100% thank you for an amazing experienceVegetarian options: Plentifully

A lovely old pub full of caratur. Staff and customers very helpful with doors. A ramp to disabled toilet. Easy access. Room to turn an Electrical chair in.and spotlas. By far a pub catering to disabled people and able body people. There is a rear. Entrance

A great find. 1 of us had a kebab and the other chicken curry and chips. Both were beautiful, the kebab meat was really nice and the curry was homemade by the owner and very tasty.Well situated on the way home from Derby. The owner was a gent too.Definitely one to remember whenever we're down that way.

The Market Tavern

The staff here are brilliant, always got a smile on there faces. The beer is excellent, and the price, and the atmosphere is electric, I would recommend this pub to anybody.

Lovely traditional food with taste to go with it...the food come out warm and fresh even in the month of ramadan as we stopped by on our way to another destination to have something to eat after ifthri. Lovely service to. Customer service was brilliant ?

Great pub.. fantastic live entertainment in the shape of the amazing classic rock covers band 'ONE IN TEN'.. ??A good choice of beers, although I have to say.. a disappointing choice of 0% beers for us drivers.. please rectify this, increase and show off your range.. attract the drivers in.. we all don't want sickly soft drinks! Guinness 0% is particularly good! ?Other than that.. a great pub!! ?

Lakeside Café

Great place for a coffee. Food selection is limited, but this is to be expected at a small facility. The staff are friendly. There is limited seating inside, but there is plenty of seating outside. One downfall of this facility is the lack of recycling for the cups and plastic tops, which in this day and age one expects in a large establishment. Waste disposal bins are available, but this is for all waste, including dog waste. All in all, I can't fault the cafe and staff. Recycling needs to be addressed by Trentham Gardens.
