Good food as always. The staff a little bit too pushy to see us out(needs some training on this I guess). Gladly I've been there for food and that was what interested me the most.

Came for lunch today with my father. Marie was our waitress. Marie was very warm and friendly in her attitude and service. She was professional throughout and showed interest in us as customers and with everyone. The food was very good and there were a lot of choices at the carvery. Enjoyable afternoon.

Marie was excellent and provided a superb service. Despite being busy she was very polite and efficient with her service and I can not fault at all. Unfortunately there were some issues with the soft drinks machine but an alternative was promptly arranged to my satisfaction. Lovely location and kind staff.

It wasn't that busy, but once seated we waited quite a while for someone to come to us. They didn't come, so went to the bar ourselves. The waitress did appear, but went to a table of 5 that had arrived after us. But we'd sorted our own drinks by

Been to better tobys , no onion gravy , and would have liked the meats to be labelled, the meat was nice . The mash potatoes we watery with no flavour . We came to use the salt and nothing came out , we tried 4 from other tablets and they all needed replacing. Maybe put a few dry peas in or rice ! They were old and clogged up.

A large group of us went Boxing Day, we had preordered desserts but when we got there had no Christmas pudding, the few who had ordered it chose another dessert, only later were told they didn’t have this either!!The soup came and mine and some others were cold, they warmed them but came back with the same bowls not knowing who’s was who’s!The carvery was cold too and was dried up like it had been there all day.We waited 45 minutes for dessert, which was mainly chocolate brownies, this was so hard around the edges. I’m guessing it was defrosted in the microwave and then warmed up. Also ran out of alcohol free beer too. We booked in September time and were assured that you’d have all the sweets as it was the same last year when we came. Very disappointed again!!!

The food was lovely, very yummy. Even my 7year old ate all of his food. . . But it took nearly 40mins for the dessert to come out and they was all very simply puddings. Maybe you should have some designated staff members that just focus on preparing and bringing puddings outParking: Register your parking inside Toby carvery to get free parking.

We have been visiting this carvery for many years when we have been in the area. We had some canal holidays from the marina next door and also as we've passed through via canal. The food has always been excellent. This visit was no different. Staff were lovely. The only thing that bothered me was they had the air conditioning on, and we were sat underneath one of the vents. We had our meals when it seemed to kick in, but it made the dinner go cold very quickly. I did ask if it could be altered but apparently it wasnt possible. I just thought it was bizarre being as it was chilly out. Also only one cubicle in the ladies loo was working. You know us ladies go in pairs lol. These are minor details. Main thing was good food, nice staff and an enjoyable lunch. Thank you.

Went here for a family meal, ended with my partner having his own food thrown at him and aggressive behaviour from the manager. After assuming my partner was drinking an alcoholic beverage (my partner being a 23 year old man may I add), the manager and his worker came over and demanded the drink from him. After explaining its not his and he is merely sharing a table with the person who it belonged to, they told him to leave to which he refused as he had done nothing wrong and had paid for his meal he was still eating. The manager snatched my partners plate and threw it all over his clothes and on the floor while acting very aggressively. Great first impression mate?

Good food, nice to have a few vegetarian choices. Our server, Marie, was brilliant. She was busy but still managed to make us feel welcome while being efficient.

Hi myself and the wife called in last night for some food which was very tasty however the staff don’t seem to be able to communicate very well the young lady on the front desk just muttered something about having to order and pay at the bar as there were no tables then rushed off we had to wait for her to return to clarifyThen the guy at the bar didn’t even speak to us to take our order until he asked for payment Just seemed as if it was to much trouble to actually speak to us Food was great service not so great
