“We went for dinner NYE with our family and 2 young children. Zara our sever was exceptional!!! Accommodating and friendly atmosphere, quick food, thank you very much!!”

“We were married at the boat house November 9th, the whole day was just perfect. Everyone helped set up for the day and even though there were some family that couldn't make it due to illness Lizzy and team helped me switch tables around and they reprinted the layout. Nothing was too much. A huge thank you to the whole team who just made our day so wonderful. The whole team work so hard to make the day so perfect and land it everytime. A special mention to Lizzy for being so approachable, kind and caring. Words cannot express how brilliant everything was. The day just flew by with ease and that is thanks to everyone at The Boat House.”

“Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon tea cat cafe experience! Your rescue cats are very friendly, love attention and are well looked after. The food was lovely as well as my hot chocolate with cream and flake. It was very nice to have an option of which drink rather than just tea and coffee. Thank you for also supplying treats to encourage extra cat contact. Our table of 8 would definitely come again.”

“Best chippy we've tried for a long time. Food was lovely and hot. The portions of chips served with our fish cake and battered sausage were huge. We could easily have shared one portion of chips between us! Lovely mushy peas too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Shame we don't live locally as we'd definitely visit again. ?”

“Great venue. Had A pint of the Blonde Ale. Not sure what was going on with it. Did not stick to the glass as we drunk it. Gave the impression of being flat. No head, and not that pleasant to drink. Could have been from a barrel that needed changing, but there was a staff change during our meal so did not go back to point this out. I don't like leaving negative reviews. But I speak as I find.”
