£100 deposit on leaving room, which no-one told me about at time of booking. Deluxe Room? TV didn’t work and no one knew how to retune it. Kettle faulty. Only mirror 20 cm sq. Mould all around the base of the bath because the shower leaked. Shower powered by static pump so very very noisy. I found a maggot/fly on the vanity unit! The var was “ sticky” and only after 3 requests for a cloth was it wiped I was told I would get a call from the management…I’m still waiting...read full review
It is a nightmare place. We read the website and planned to stay there one night on our way back home from a family celebration. The hotel is not a hotel. It is a hostel for vulnerable disruptive people. It is run down, filthy and full of horrible rules made to manage dreadful behaviour. We booked through Booking.com and they clearly havent a clue what they are sending you to. We didnt stay and have asked for our money back. On arrival they wanted £100 ‘damage security’. The place was dirty, with threadbare carpet, torn wallpaper, door handles hanging off (kicked in?). House rules emphasised no drug use in the rooms. Realised it’s a drug hostel!! Demanded a refund and left pronto.
