Pubs in Stone

“A very friendly welcome, with good beer on an autumnal Wednesday lunchtime.Appeals to an older clientele at this time of day, but none the worse for that.Comfortable corners and plenty of dining tables.”

“Good surrounds you can take your children to feed the ducks, and fish. There is ample seating outside, the staff are really friendly. And if you sit inside they have a roaring open fire, lovely ”

“Great well kept ale! Really enjoyed our visit after a walk along the canal, the landlord was very welcoming and friendly. The beer is the best Titanic ale I've had!”

“Visited on a Tuesday lunchtime so not busy at all. I pedalled past this place on the canal and thought I'd have to give it a try. I was not disappointed. For a new building it has a fantastic old traditional pub decor inside, giving it a very comfortable feel to it. Joules pub so their beers obviously on,but there should definitely be something for everyone. The food was a quality, classic pub menu with a few interesting. I had the brisket loaded fries which were delicious and super filling. My wife had the large fish and chips which she enjoyed. Definitely worth a visit. Would like to come in the summer and sit outside by the canal.”

“Sunday meal with my wife, kids and my parents. Lovely atmosphere. Warm and cosy. Served by Zara who was very friendly and helpful.Food was delicious at a reasonable price. I had the signature burger…really tasty. Good selection of alcohol free beers for the drivers. The mini pudding and drink for £6.25 is a great idea by the way. Car park large. Will definitely come here for lunch again. Many thanks for a lovely experience.”

“A nice meal, but the beef was quite tough for a £12 meal. The potato was nice (which I ordered instead of fries). Had to go to the bar to get served. It can be quite noisy, and I struggled to find a place that would be suitable for me and my dad, who has hearing aids, to sit without speakers playing music, which interrupt his hearing.”
