Its a pub we call into 4 or 5 times a year, great selection of beers and wines. Always a warm welcome by staff and locals and a really nice older world style kept upto date. Call have a pint you will enjoy it. We have not eaten here so I can not rate that but my guess is it will be good.

Stopped here on our way to Chester and, although it is only a small establishment, it had a good choice, including the infamous vegan sausage roll. Staff were continually cleaning the shelves and floor, and appeared to be taking pride in the place.

Literally just visited here, the lady serving us could do with taking a customer service skills course! Rude is an understatement. No manners at all, almost threw the muffins at me and spoke to me like I was a piece of dirt as I didn’t hear her as if I wanted separate bags for my muffins so I asked her politely to repeat the question. She also huffed at me when it came to paying as she was already typing in the card reader when I mentioned I had the app so she had to cancel it and redo it. Not the service we normally get nor would expect from such a well established business!
