Heath House Kitchen

Found this little local gem after a family day out at Alton Towers. Upon entering, you are warmly welcomed and seated to your table. Lovely music in the background, relaxing yet welcoming for young kids. Food was amazingly delicious, fresh and generous in sized. We had a roast, steak pie, tomato soup and sea bass plus pudding to share for a family of four. We left very full and was exactly what we needed after such busy day.

The Shrewsbury Arms

Lovely, cosy pub with a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was perfect for a date night with the missus – relaxed, comfortable and not too loud, so you can actually enjoy a proper conversation.

There were lots of friendly dogs around which added to the charm, and it just had that classic, homely pub feel as soon as you walk in. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything felt well looked after.

It’s the kind of place you can settle into for the evening without feeling rushed. We had a great time and will definitely be returning at some point. Highly recommend if you’re after a laid-back, cosy spot with a great atmosphere.

Tavern

A truly welcoming traditional village pub, great food, very dog friendly. Keiran & Ash have brought life back into the place over the last few years. A great stop off on the way back from nearby Alton Towers.

Had a nice dinner today with the hubby today. Great service from Jane and Mark. food was beautiful. nice and warm and we wasn't waiting long either. We will be back x

Highly recommend!!From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server John , was fantastic—attentive without hovering and offered great wine pairing suggestions. A truly memorable meal, perfect for a date night or special occasion. We can't wait to return!!))

BEAR - Uttoxeter

My wife and I had a morning date here and we would highly recommend! Lovely food that arrived quite quickly, the staff were friendly and the seating was cosy and private. Clean tables and toilets and we didn't have to wait to get a table! Mid week coffee date was a success, thank you!

Our family had the pleasure of celebrating our grandson's 18th Birthday at Indian Spice restaurant! It was an outstanding experience, from the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and attentive ensuring that the occasion was nothing short of perfectection. The food was very tasty simply gorgeous! Every dish was beautifully presented and very generous portions too, of course the birthday boy was very happy with his favourite Chicken tikka massala! I must also commend the exceptional service provided by the staff throughout the evening!
Highly recommend Indian Spice for anyone who appreciates delicious food with exceptional service.

Divine Punjabi Indian Restaurant

This restaurant serves delicious indian food, including chicken tikka,lamb and mix grill with generous protein and fresh naan breads.They highlight the good value, with reasonable prices for both food and drinks and the lively atmosphere, perfect for celebrations and gathering.They also like the attentive and friendly service, with staff providing prompt and efficient service . I will certainly visit again.

Ivory Café

We were staying at the Premier Inn and walked into Uttoxeter for meal. We called in by chance and were given a warm welcome - a party of six adults and three children. Staff friendly and service prompt. Food was delicious and not overly expensive. We had a lovely night. Would recommend anyone staying in the area to go thereKid-friendliness: We had a 2 year old an 8 year old and an 11 year old. All three enjoyed themselves

The lads that where working friday 17th around 12:00pm, didn't want to chat they basically took payment and ignored us... Sausage Rolls were stone cold and rock solid even though it was lunch time.....

Today the lady that was on around 12:00pm was really nice and polite.
The wedges where perfect not hard at all. Steak slices and Sausage Roll where nice and Hot ... keep up the good work ??

Birds Bakery

Super friendly staff - popped in 30 minutes before closing and they were more than happy to help with my large (14 cake) takeaway order.

Reasonable price.

Rocky road was excellent and would highly recommend the lemon tarts.

Costa Coffee

Again to be clear. The serving team does a very good job. Attentive and Professional. Always it's clean. Range is very limited, poorly thought out Junk food menus. Could and should do so much better. Plastic cholesterol junk food. Any motorway cafe across Europe does so much better. Rail stations too. Equipment forever breaks down. Poor preventive maintenance. Poor planning. Poor group management. Uttoxeter Store staff are good, doing a great job. Let down by Cowboy Group Management and lack of support. Good Staff leave. Some healthier foods, and better equipment preventive maintenance getting a grip? Store team 5 stars. Costa 2. Costa needs to really up its game. Cowboy outfit. It should be so much better. Get a Chef review, what is possible? Could sell more and be more. Costa lot for not a lot. Costa innovate for God's sake. Support the stores. Look at the competition. Are you mentally wrapped in Missionary opposition? At least try face up. Could be so much better.

Indiana Take Away

If you want quality, tasty food which is clean, I highly recommend either the lamb, steak, or kofte kebab. Fresh salad, and tender lean meat. The rice is so tasty with these dishes and it's a very healthy meal also. I'm a big eater and always order large, and it satisfying. If you are looking for a healthier alternative fast food there's nowhere else in this town to go apart from Indiana for these dishes.

Great service loved my mocktail Onion rings Chips and Pizza although quite gresie. But still tested Great also the free Candy floss for pudding was very different

Butchers arms (bramshall)

A great place to enjoy a super time, lots of space outside with two coverings for shade and from rain, plus area for the sunshine people. Beer and lager kept in great condition and food is top notch, lovely pub in an great location. The staff and hosts are brilliant and they all make you feel welcome, once visited...twice returned.

Premier Inn Uttoxeter hotel

Amazing customer service. Amy and Team made us feel very welcome and special. We have 4 children (3 who are autistic) we were welcomed with a personal note, bottle of wine and some chocolates to wish us a happy child free night. Just what we needed to recharge and get ready for a busy Christmas season ahead.

We had a lovely relaxing afternoon in the hotel before going out for a meal and drinks
drinks in the local town.

McDonald's

I stood by the counter a little while, waiting to place my order with approx 6 staff members milling around, chatting amongst themselves about where they do their shopping (ie, Tesco) ....
They were aware that I was there as I was in clear site, it was only when I turned to walk away, that a staff member asked if they could help me.
I was a bit miffed but I bit my tongue and placed my order then obviously, left.
Other than that, all was well.

Theres aways a friendly face and a warm welcome at the Khori Nor and the food is traditional, flavoursome and filling.There's lots of eateries in Uttoxeter but this is the best in town!Vegetarian options: They'll omit the meat, lots of vegetables dishesParking: Close free parking plus there's off street and on street parking close by. It's very central.

The food is really, really good ?? and the atmosphere is amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and Mr Woo is especially nice and helpful ?. The food is always high quality, cooked well, and tastes great every time. I really like the variety and consistency. It’s a great place to have a meal out or to get a takeaway ???. Overall, an amazing place and I would definitely recommend it ❤️

Fueled Speciality Coffee

I love this place, one of the best spots in Uttoxeter. The breakfast burrito is always my go-to. The staff are super friendly, the decor is right up my street (and that Christmas tree is epic!).

Stans Cafe

Called here on the off chance, great little place for breakfast eat in or take out.
The 2 ladies were very friendly with great service,
The place itself is very clean with toilets which is a bonus.
Will definitely be back.

Smithfield Hotel

Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. Impressive selection of toiletries in the ladies' toilet. We always come here when we visit Uttoxeter. Fabulous place.

The Plough Inn

A really pleasant pub . The barmen were pleasant and attentive, though a smile wouldn't go amiss . A place of character and charm and some parking . The meal was good, simple fair , reasonably priced.

The Vaults Of Uttoxeter

I dont know about the food. Never eaten there. Go there to drink. The pub is very old which makes it a great atmosphere for relaxing in. There's a lot of character in the pub and also in some of the people that drink there. Why not try a game of bar skittles? Never heard of it? Maybe you should pop down to have a go! Dog friendly. Any trouble and your asked to leave. No tolerance to bad behaviour.

Saddlers Yard Cafe

First time visiting this lovely cafe, definitely won’t be the last. Lady that took our order and brought over our food and drinks was lovely. I hadn’t spotted that cash was the preferred method of payment until after we’d eaten but this wasn’t a problem and I was directed to nearest cash point. Breakfast was delicious thank you.

Old star

Great pub to visit, small friendly, music, full of Blades, dogs in the pub, landlady very talkative, not worried about the fans, and reasonable prices, will call again the next time we play stoke.

Called in on the way to watch the blades at stoke, football fans treated very well, very reasonable prices. Busy but what do you expect, with normal punters and 3 coaches of football fans.

Starbucks Coffee

Recently used the drive thru after not visiting for a while. Coffee was great, tasty and hot. Service was really lovely and friendly. Did not give 5 stars as did not go inside and could therefore not comment on atmosphere or cleanliness. Would visit again though.
