Uttoxeter Rd, Kingstone, UttoxeterWe went there for lunch and because we were going to have a main meal in the evening we asked for a large portion of gambas piri piri. The prawns were delicious well cooked but not rubbery. The piri piri sauce was spicy but not overly so. In all a fantastic meal with their usual excellent service.

College Rd, Denstone, UttoxeterProbably the best pub fish and chips I have ever had. The gluten free cider batter was amazing! Half way around the Saltersford Lane Circular walk, it was just what the doctor ordered. Lovely clean pub and smashing service. A good pint too ?. Would highly recommend.

We called in by chance and were given a warm welcome - a party of six adults and three children. Staff friendly and service prompt. Food was delicious and not overly expensive. We had a lovely night. Would recommend anyone staying in the area to go thereKid-friendliness: We had a 2 year old an 8 year old and an 11 year old. All three enjoyed themselves

There is a car park but didn’t realise you could use it as it was next to another restaurant. Definitely go back. Different offers on different days. We had 3 courses. It all was delicious. A50 Derby Rd, UttoxeterIts a pub we call into 4 or 5 times a year, great selection of beers and wines. Always a warm welcome by staff and locals and a really nice older world style kept upto date. Call have a pint you will enjoy it. We have not eaten here so I can not rate that but my guess is it will be good.

12 Carter St, UttoxeterAlways brilliant food. Burgers. Chicken and chips is the best in town by far.Kebab meat not great but thats everywhere everybody boils it now or something soft soggy. I liked the crispy kebab meat I remember as a kid. I wish that was the standard still.But Indiana is the best by far. Their chips are absolutely perfect. Not soggy like everyone else's in uttoxeter except Ruby's. They do 2nd best chips.Burgers and fried chicken is perfection at Indiana there's no competition in town. If you want Burgers and chips you go to indiana.

Raspberry and white choc and the hot cross bun pie.Wish they did oat milk!Dietary restrictions: There is no alternative option for milk on coffee. How do you not do oat milk these days?

Both had Mixed Kebab starter, shared Mushroom rice and Special Nan, Sag Aloo. For mains, we had Lamb Tikka Bhuna and Mixed Korai. The starters and sides were lovely, but the mains were average - tasty, but nothing special. Bring your own booze - fine, but probably the reason nobody else was there (we reckon people probably just order takeaway and drink at home).

G2-g5, Lion Buildings, 8 Market Pl, UttoxeterSlightly ashamed to admit but I order from here a lot and the service is always very quick! Have had pizzas regularly arrive in under 15 minutes. They're always consistently good and piping hot too. I've placed phone orders for pickup a few times, given the time I'll pick it up, and it's always either just come out or is nearly finished cooking when I've arrived which is great especially when I'm limited on time.

21 Market Pl, UttoxeterI'm often nervous of micro pubs as they can be a litlle clicky and frequented mainly by men in beards extolling the virtues on CAMRA membership and the evils of the lager drinker, luckily the Horse and Dove is not like this! I have now visited a number of times with my wife and cannot recommend it enough, the service is warm and friendly, the atmosphere is great, the prices are very reasonable and it caters for everybody. The lagers are amazing, it has wine and fizz and is an absolute gem of a pub, just love visiting here and people watching with the amazing location and views.

Stafford Rd, UttoxeterHaving run a pub myself and just come out the trade it has been the first mothers day dinner I have had in years. We came for Sunday lunch for mothers day. We had a very warm welcome very polite young man behind the bar. We had a lady in a wheelchair which they helped us get down the step. This is what I call an old school pub warm welcoming and cozy. A lovely fire lit at the top. Games for the children to play with. Nothing was to much trouble. Not to mention the lovely locals which were also welcoming. Some pubs you go to you can tell the locals and they make you not feel welcome. We'll not this one. I could not fault it. All I can say don't judge a book by it's cover you might just be pleasantly surprised. Great job owners and staff you make it a great pub
