27th December 13:00 Treating my husband to lunch for Christmas. We both ordered from the festive menu. I had the Turkey dinner and hubby had the Christmas stack burger with extra roasties. Both dinners were so generous in size. They came out quite quickly and we're both piping hot. I did ask for extra gravy, but that's me. I like lashings of gravy. Sherry Trifle for dessert. Really enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend

I purchased the Christmas meal deal and ordered a main and a dessert and my wife a main. The quality of the food was good, however the service was somewhat lacking. We sat with dirty plates on our table for 45 minutes. Not once did the waitress or anyone else approach us and ask about the meal or anything else. We were made aware that it was order at the bar service, hence why I ordered my main and my dessert at the same time. staff were either poorly trained or lacking in their commitment to the job. Other tables were approached and indeed other tables were delivered drinks, which demonstrated inconsistencies. After having sat for 45 minutes with dirty plates, I decided I was going to leave. I approached the bar for a refund of the dessert which I never received and complained about the service. The barman sorted out the refund whilst the manager stood nearby listening and not once speaking to us , acknowledging our complaint or even an apology. He simply directed the barman in how to conduct the refund.

We decided to come to The Waterbridge to celebrate a 40th birthday, a 72nd birthday and a wedding anniversary as a party of 14. Even with us running late, due to traffic, the service and team was spectacular. Food was delicious, service was quick and efficient and all staff were very friendly. The added touch of flowers for the occasions was lovely. Our server, Hannah, was fantastic, friendly and helpful and made our Sunday dinner wonderful. Would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian roast was deliciousKid-friendliness: Staff were lovely and interactive with the children in our party
