Best Fish n Chips we have ever had without doubt and we will continue going back. It’s a must visit whenever we have family and friends to stay and is always a big hit with everyone.Beware that due to the popularity there is always a sizeable queue at opening time, but it’s definitely worth the wait! There is no inside dining but they also own The Golden Galleon down the street which has a restaurant upstairs.

Amazing fish and chips we ate on picnic tables outside the pub next door. Well worth going.

Had fish and chips from Golden Galleon on the Monday and they were gorgeous! Just a nice amount of chips and fish cooked lovely. At aldeburgh fish and chips, a lot of the potatoes used were bad, a normal sized portion and the fish was dry not overly

Terrible. Not impressed - 5th time I’ve been so given it a fair try. Chips were dry dehydrated not nice at all. Fish small for the medium portion. Wouldn’t return again. See pics below

Fabulous, the best in town, always a queue so be patient and then enjoy, yummy. We always use this place and always take visiting family with us, it's a must do thing when in Aldburgh.

Had some lovely fish and chips here yesterday. Very hot and cooked to perfection.

I doubt we will be there again, two lots of fish and chips were very poor value for money. my wife’s piece of fish was pretty much inedible, huge amounts of bone and a hint of ammonia, she left 95%.of her fish. Mine wasn’t so bad an average amount of bones and I covered it with brown sauce so I didn’t detect get any ammonia smell. so all in all a very costly fish and chip treat for us.

No que outside on a Saturday lunch time, this should have been our red flag. I had a 'medium ' cod . Loads of batter & not a lot of fish. I shared chips with hubby who got a ' large ' cod. I feel as it was towards the closing time I got the dregs . No where as good as it used to be I'm afraid.

Absolutely cracking fish and chips and everyone knows it! Be prepared to queue, particularly in the summer. But it's absolutely worth the wait!

Foods always lovely, the portion sizes aren't as big as some other chip shops but there's plenty there for me.
