“Popped in here because we were hungry not knowing anything about the place. Made very welcome - it's cosy, well laid out and friendly staff and other people. We struck up interesting conversations with three groups of people all together.Anyway log fire, low ceiling, great food and beer. Perfect.”

“November and plenty of locals in at 11.30 opening - seven around one table and others down the other end. Three or four dogs in over two hours. Not a huge place being one room and good atmosphere. Excellent Adnams beer and cider (loved the winter special) and red wine ?. The bar lady (pink hair) had it all under control. Great experience. Thank you. ☂️?️ Outside!”
