Really tasty food, with really nice and friendly waiters. It was rather pricey, but the food was of a great quality - the butter Naan was amazing. Would happily return again!

I’ve never had to leave a restaurant before the food arrives. The restaurant is understaffed. There was no gas in the drinks and didn’t get new drinks for 45 mins. Our order was not put through correctly so no food arrived and after 1 hour 15 minutes we left as could not wait any longer. Our waiter was understanding and apologetic but the meal was still a disaster.

Take away only. The food was great. Kids didn’t find it too spicy so food didn’t last for long! Sign of lovey food.

Very patient and polite staff, good-sized portions for each course. The fish was cooked so that it literally fell apart. Lamb samosas cooked very well (tender lamb). Biryani was spicy and there was plenty of it. 10/10

The food was of some sort nice, definitely not worth the pricing they are asking for!! The service on the other hand… absolutely shocking.. rude, unprofessional and embarrassing. Will not be returning!

As title says, if you're paying "Aldeburgh prices" you may as well dine somewhere nicer. It's very middle of the road for an Indian restaurant - very creamy, "Okay" curries, but lacking much depth of flavour. Service was on the lower end - we pre-booked a table for 10 and they asked us to pre-order our entire meal, then didn't ask/discuss any requirements on the night. Also asked a waiter directly for no coriander (someone in the group can't stand it), yet dish came out covered in fresh coriander and then told to our face "chef has said there's no coriander" - took it back to kitchen and quickly scraped it off... Restaurant was empty, which is telling about the place, yet drinks took ages to arrive, which is strange surprising the 14 total guests in the restaurant, including us. If you're absolutely dying for a curry while in Aldeburgh, there's no other option, but be prepared to pay over the odds for not very much.

This was my second visit and as expected the food was amazing. It is very authentic Indian cooking, with wonderful layered flavours. The service and atmosphere in the restaurant is also very good. I would thoroughly recommend.

A wonderful venue, great decoration and table settings. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable and the menu had plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the price was excellent too. The food is delicious.

It was a wonderful experience, I had goat meat and it was very soft and the taste was also amazing with very good and fast service and the environment was also very good, It's a must visit place for having great Indian food.

This place bills it's self as somewhere special, in fact it is very ordinary, they think they can charge London, prices as they are in Aldeburgh, but they seriously need to up their game, sticky tables, unatentive, bored looking staff, chicken jalfrezi ordinary, and guess what if you order a biryarny , you get a bowl of rice, nothing with it, you pay for popdums and chutney tray, but you have to pay extra for onion salad, it's a joke.

I'm staying at the White Lion Hotel. Lovely hotel which has 2 restaurants The Brasserie restaurant brilliant food fantastic and well priced. The other Sea Spice an Indian restaurant what a difference. The decor is not Indian to start, food so overpriced they should be ashamed. I had a chicken korma just the meat and a peshwari naan £21, it was nothing special, no different from any other Indian. I had 5 small measly pieces of meat, that was it. It took around 4 minutes from ordering for the food to arrive, too fast! If I'm taking out another mortgage to pay for the food, I expect it to take a while to be cooked. I'm still hungry!! Any other Indian restaurant in England I would have had double the portion and half the price. Never eating here again!!

Underwhelming to say the least, staff seemed bored, service slow, food bland. My husband said his Jalfrezi was all right. If you like your kebabs to look like they’ve been grilled don’t order. My Tandoori oven chicken kebabs were white, quite off putting. I found most of my meal tasteless. Peshwari nans were OK. I will not be going to this restaurant again, very disappointing.

Really terrible menu - starter dishes small and unappetising. Overpriced - really disappointing. Service and ambience were the only good things -

Food great with seafood options. Menu is a little different but with some old favourites.
