Very pleasant stop on our trip from Norwich to Southwold. Would have a chance to try a pastry or others but didn't have time.

If acrid smoke from a dirty panini press and boxes/clutter lying around are your thing. Can only assume 5* reviews are from those having take away or eating outside.

A great cafe with lots of seating outside! Toasted sandwiches made with multigrain bread were huge and highly recommended! The place was bustling and lots of tables outside!Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices

Very welcoming and dog friendly. Enjoyed a freshly made slice of lemon drizzle (just iced that minute). Perfect with a cup of coffee.

Came to Bungay on Monday and thought i'd try a snack from Ma belle. Lovely sausage roll, will come again

This is a small, family owned cafe is a small but thriving Suffolk market town. The food be it sweet or savoury, and their bread is all made either on the premises or locally and frankly are exceptional value for money. Do try their big meaty sausage rolls if you want filling up, but try and get one (or two) while they are still oven warm! The coffee's are surprisingly inexpensive especially when compared to many other similar coffee shops and certainly when compared to the big chain coffee shops. As a regular visitor to Ma Belle, the staff (all of them) are always a joy and will accommodate even the most obscure requests if at all possible. Overall, this is one of the gems that make Bungay such a delight to visit. Highly recommended! (Oh, and no, I'm in no way connected. Just a very satisfied customer!)

We were camping locally and came for breakfast, we shared a delicious blueberry croissant and cheese scone, so moist and flavoursome. We sat outside in the sunshine and they were very welcoming to our dog even giving him a treat. Before leaving I bought a white sourdough loaf, another cheese scone, a veggie sausage roll and a chocolate orange brownie. The veggie sausage roll was heavenly, no idea what was in it, guessing feta and spinach, really flavoursome and moist. The chocolate orange brownie was also delicious, so glad we saved it to enjoy on the way home, just sad we don’t live closer to this wonderful little bakery.
Love it here . Brilliant half way stop for my bike rides and if I get there early enough they do the most amazing vegan blueberry pastries.

The best cafe in Bungay. Lovely food and coffee. Their Bakewell tart slices and sausage rolls are delicious. Friendly staff and, unlike at another popular cafe in Bungay, I don't feel rushed to vacate my table. Great for a relaxed coffee or snack with friends.

Apparently one coffee does not equate to one stamp at this establishment. As a coffee punter, I wanna be drawn back to Ma Belle's, but their stingy stamping and sausage rolls that have been cut in half make me reluctant to return. Half it and give it to the next person - a growing trend on social media in witty response to the double it and give it to the next person. Fitting for this place.. A tasty brew but no incentive for a coffee lover's return. The baguette was yummy but gotta add a small fortune for the garnish and crisps. Questionable pricing for a local eatery who clearly prey their business from folk who've already paid off their mortgages. Punters Tip: Order and purchase hot drinks one at a time to ensure you get that glorious eighth beverage for the price of nothing.

The best coffee shop in Bungay. Charlie the owner is wonderful and her ladies are polite, hard working and helpful. The cakes and patisseries are delicious and the coffee is life saving!

Pleasant café. Good lavazza coffee. A half dozen tables outside and a small room upstairs.
