We ordered a take away roast dinner with desert from here as it was Mother’s Day, it was a treat from my hubby and son to me. We had never ordered from here before and we saw the menu and thought the food sounded really nice and was a reasonable price too. When we collected it, it was given to us in a beautiful insulated bag to keep it warm with the name of the place on and all the food was in proper take away boxes. Very good atmosphere with kind helpful staff but could definitely use some refurbishment to bring it up to date. Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a very relaxed feel about the place

Real atmospheric of an old eerie typical East End London pub. I loved it. Took me back to my youth and I'm an old lady now!!!!! Right in Town. Easy to get to. Cant wait to go to a medieval night there and see down in that basement!!!!Ghost hunters paradise!!!!!!
