We had a very happy warm welcome today, asked for two hot cappuccinos & got two, I say this as so many cafes serve it up warm!Had their homemade pumpkin soup which was absolutely delicious served with half a sandwich, I would just say the soup bowl was very tiny, child size infact but very very nice.

Whilst I would say the food generally is absolutely delicious in the cafe, where it is really let down is the cakes! They are dry and don’t taste very nice, I wonder if the chef is more specialist with savoury meals than baking? I have to say I have been to an awful lot of places serving cakes and I think this is really the worst sadly. The 4 stars are for the delicious breakfasts, lunches, service and atmosphere which I can’t fault and highly recommend!

All day breakfast and any sort of crumble. The apple crumble was amazing.

Superb. Lovely friendly people. Really excellent and varied menu. Very tasty food. Nicely served. Dog friendly and even supplied biscuits for our two cockapoos. My wife and I will certainly be returning. So definitely well recommended.

Great selection of cake, drinks and food available. Not cheap but not expensive either. Lovely location and now has a pleasant garden area. Love the little shop with it too

New owner, new stock, new regular customer! Hadn't been in the shop for 3yrs as moved away. Visiting family so popped in for lunch within barn which was very good. Looking round the shop was a revelation! Stock much better and keen prices too. Will definitely be back!

Food was lovely, but very slow when the restaurant wasn't very busy.Coffee was not very nice despite the restaurant having a nice machine. Very bitter tasting and not gor me.After our food taking a long time, the quality made the wait well worth it.The restaurant could also benefit from a clean at time of visit.

Popped in for lunch. Delightful atmosphere, helped by warm sun streaming through the window. Covidballs was optional. My wife had the soup and roll and a coffee. Soup was broccoli and Stilton so I went with American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, which was most enjoyable. Good bacon! And a flat white which ticked most of the boxes: the coffee itself could have done with being less heavily roasted, but this is nit-picking. Charming service.

The cafe was ok and food good. The website doesn't do it justice as there's no garden centre. The farm shop is okish but nothing else makes it attractive. The florist is friendly. Shame because the setting is ideal

The food was nice but the service was quite slow (more staff needed at weekends) and the slices of cake were excessively large (I know this is a plus for some but I found it too much and hate food waste).
