Lovely little cafe, welcoming staff, warm and cosy on a wet day. Only had a coffee so can't comment on the food. Dog friendly and she even got a treat.

Ordered a chicken bacon cheese toastie and it was disgusting, full of black bits and just fatty bacon. When I asked what the black bits were they didn’t know. Offered a free drink but no refund on the uneaten

Nice place to pause while walking

Really rather disappointing, appears to be an artisan cafe but isnt, ordered a chicken bacon and cheddar wrap, What I got was a very sad looking bland cold chewy affair that looked like a 5 year old had made it. No garnish, no seasoning, just no hope especially considering the cost A wrap from a petrol station is honestly better. I will say the coffee was good though as was the chocolate slice.

Best vegan hot chocolate with coconut milk.Beautiful views of the Abbey, bright interior, plenty of seating and plugs for laptops, and friendly staff.Dietary restrictions: dairy free milk alternatives - soy, oat, almond, coconut

Very friendly place with helpful staff. A decent sized pot of good Earl Grey, a very tasty piece of fruit cake and a good view across to the Abbeygate. Not a bad place to stop.

On this occasion, the breakfast did not live up to previous visits. Will not be revisiting,

I still can’t forget the taste of the Guinness cake! You MUST try it when you are there. The cafe is really cosy. Staff are incredibly nice. If you don’t know what to have, just get what they recommend. You won’t regret it! (based on experience) ♥️

“Really Rather Good” says it all. We called in this afternoon for tea and cake and it was a real treat. Friendly staff, tasty cake and tea, matching clean crockery with no chips and cracks and cosy atmosphere. Thank you.

Lovely little cafe, we were staying in bury st edmunds for the weekend and stumbled across this cafe for breakfast this morning. I had their pancakes with syrup and my husband had the full English. Both cooked lovely, pancakes were very fluffy and the hot drinks were delicious. Cute little cafe and friendly service also well priced.

Very friendly staff in a cosy and homely atmosphere. Fantastic range on the menu. Drinks were served swiftly and the food came shortly after. The chicken and bacon toastie was perfect alongside the lovely view out the front of the cafe. Plenty of seating inside and out. Would recommend for a quick lunchtime bite!

Nice spot to sit outdoors.Good selection of sandwiches and good hot drinks. Good range of tasty cake. It's a bit on the small side inside, but still a great little lunch spot.

Lovely coffee shop, with a hearty menu of classics. Staff were warm, the portions of cake were generous, and it made an excellent place to work while watching the world go by. It certainly has more character than the chain coffee shops, and I'll continue to return whenever I get the chance.Kid-friendliness: Kids were present and well accommodated for.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp present at front door, deployed by staff as needed.
