We loved the Angel Hotel! Had a wonderful evening roast at the Eaterie, the staff are fantastic, helpful and understanding. No request was too much.The service was so good it was worth the optional 12.5% service charge, which are generally things I dislike like restaurants having on their menu. The beef was £22 for the roast and £4 supplement for cauliflower cheese. Although it is higher than many locations, it is worth the price, the beef was outstanding. Fabulous restaurant in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. Everyone is attentive without being 'over the top'. Superb evening menu which is good value for the quality of food, presentation and service. We really cannot fault this amazing venue. We would highly recommend you book in advance and we will be returning again in the near future.
