This is one of the best English pubs I’ve ever been to. My partner and I went on Easter Sunday and they had live music. Gorgeous location, nice building, fantastic live music. Good people too. Cannot wait to come back in Summer with friends.

Without doubt, the best pub in Hawkedon, and probably the best pub I've visited in Suffolk.

We had a lovely evening at The Hawkedon Queens Head. On arrival we found the carpark full & the pub full of happy people. We all had lovely meals ( which were large & very tasty).A good choice of beers ? & cider for every one. A remote pub but well worth a visit. Will definitely go there again.

Ate on on a Friday night and a Sunday lunchtime while staying nearby. Both meals were absolutely delicious and staff were very friendly and welcoming. One of the best pubs we’ve eaten in for a long time!

A beautiful old dog friendly country pub complete with low beams and open fires. Although it is August it was a cool day and a fire was lit while we were there. Set in the lovely Suffolk countryside. We were made welcome on our arrival and shown our table. A good menu with vegetarian option. For starters my daughter and mysel had pea, bean and herb soup wit croutons and blue cheese, Unusual but very nice. my husband had Duck spring rolls. My husband and myself ordered the double roast (pok and beef) for the main course and our daughter had the fish pie. Served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables. Both meats were cooked to perfection the beef was medium rare and the pork cooked just right, both were very tender. Half the plate was meat lovely thick slices, in fact so much that we asked if we could take what we couldn't eat home with us, it was packed up in a takeaway box for us. The fish pie was full of chunks of fish in a lovely thick sauce with a puff pastry top. We were so full that we couldn't eat a dessert of what looked like a delicious menu. We would definitely recommend the Queens Haead and will be going back. Well done team.

Lovely lunch. Highly recommended the roast. Do be aware - its popular. So service time can reflect that. But it's popular for a reason. Good food! So chill out, and go with the flow. The food is worth the wait.
