The Old Goat Brewery at the Compasses in Stansfield re-opened July 2023. The pub is over 500 years old and has been a fixture in the community until it closed in 2020. Now under Roy's new ownership, the pub is serving as the tap room for the Old Goat Brewery. It is a wet led pub only.
Fine, old traditional village pub, recently refreshed and refurbished, with new friendly proprietors and deserving of support. Real ales and good honest food with a German influence, at very reasonable prices. Recommended!
