Friendly welcoming staff but the food was awful. I had the 3 bean chilli and honestly I have no idea what an earth was on my plate there was certainly no chilli or tomato based sauce. It was almsot like a bowl of blended flavourless beans nothing like any chilli I have ever tasted. My pudding was also cold clearly not heated through properly in the microwave. Sadly we will not be returning and would not recommend.

This is third time in the past couple of months we have visited for Sunday lunch. Every one of them was excellent. We will be back. Compliments to the chef J. Steve and Sue.

We came for Sunday lunch to celebrate our grandads birthday. Food was great, they were very accommodating and we were really looked after by the chef. Would highly recommend for a laid back Sunday roast.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Best meal I’ve had in a long time! We had the pork belly and couldn’t find a fault.

We visited friends in a nearby village and popped to this spot for lunch. We hadn’t heard anything about this place as my friends had only recently moved up here. We arrived about 1 and the lunch was finishing however the friendly staff kept the lunch open for us so we could order from it still. There wasn’t much selection on the lunch menu so i went for the Sausage and onion baguette and my partner went for the tuna mayo baguette. The food was quick, came out efficiently and it was lovely and well presented. The pub wasn’t that busy during this time but for lunch i would really reccomend.

A family group of 9 of us were holidaying near-by and fancied a meal out. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was excellent, one member of our group had the burger and said it was probably the best burger he had had in a very long time. Would definitely recommend this place.
