Really like this place. Friendly staff. Pub food is a level up on the norm for sure. Pricey compared to your 'normal' pub grub but worth it and reflected in the quality. We stayed in one of the new cabins and they were spot on. A few little things stopping the 5 stars like the coffee machine had old pods left in it and the showergell dispensor was empty. Other than that a pleasant stay.
Saturday evening here for my wife’s birthday. Lovely atmosphere and mix of beams and modern building. Sat in the bar area for a drink before the meal on sofas. Busy restaurant and open kitchen area which was really buzzing. Food was terrific. Steak for me, fish and chips for my wife. Staff were friendly despite being so busy. Thanks for letting us stay in the bar after our meal as we don’t get out often. Would definitely recommend to others and will return.

We enjoyed our short break, everything we required was supplied , we were pleased to be in the same Lodge as we did previously, our little Dog was comfortable as well and our Breakfast was fine as before. The location suited us as my Mother and Brother live in Barrow so we could spend more time with them.
