We visited today for a family birthday meal, and while the food was excellent, we found the service and the atmosphere to be cold and unwelcoming. We felt like we were something of an inconvenience and being rushed so they could free another table.I doubt we’d rush back to eat here again, but would consider it for a takeaway option.

We took my daughter there for her birthday meal this evening. Usual rip off for soft drinks - £9.50 for 2 cokes! But the food was very good.Sadly the service was cold and not at all friendly. We had a little family competition to smile at the waiters and see if we could get a smile back. Epic fail! All felt a bit "conveyor belt".Probably wont be returning as eating out is an occasional treat for us and there is more to a nice eveing out than just the food. Shame really...but there are lots of good places to eat in Bury.

Had a takeaway from Zen last week.Food was brilliant, fresh, not greasy, full of lovely meat and veg. Can't beat the place.

I had a great meal but my wife wasn't sure about hers. The sweet and sour chicken tasted a little burnt.....

Great choice of food. Only moan tables too close together. Get to hear the conversation on the table next door, whether you want to or not!

Our go to restaurant of choice for date night! Have never had a bad meal here, delicious food and prompt, friendly service is a guarantee! Couldn't recommend more highly! The rendang curries and vegetable gyoza are to die for! ??

Listen. The food is banging. I’m a 26 year old lad from London. And I moved to bury thinking there wouldn’t be any authentic Asian restaurants and this place has just blown me out the water!Cheap, portions are massive! Mate. If you don’t come down you’re foolish! ;)

Been here a couple of times over the past few weeks and whilst the service can be a bit miserable, the food and quality are excellent .. by some distance this is the best Chinese in bury st Edmund’s

Recently had lunch here with my partner and daughter, we each ordered a main noodle dish and one of the additional items. Although the food was hot and fairly flavoursome, I felt that the price was certainly not relative to what you got. I ordered the rib and it was literally one rib cut up, really for £7,that's one expensive rib. I certainly don't mind paying for a decent meal, but certainly felt cheated on this occasion. The portion size was probably the same as you would get from your local takeaway, but double the price, again average £15 for noodles. If you want value for money, you are better going to 513 where you pay a set price and can go up until you are full. Will probably not be visiting here in the future.
