This is. A beautiful pub in a gorgeous rural location. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service was quick. It actually makes me sad to write this review however I almost feel obliged to do it. The Black Horse has officially served me the worst Sunday roast I have ever eaten, there was absolutely nothing redeemable about it. My wife and I went through 2 boats of gravy trying to combat the dry meat, reheated potato’s and utter lack of flavour and even then we determined we would have been better off at toby carvery. I’m not sure what was on the cauliflower but it was undercooked and completely unseasoned, rest of the the veg was simply steamed. Don’t come here for a roast there are at least 5 pubs within 10 minutes driving distance that charge less for better food.

First time visit to the Black Horse. It's a lovely Suffolk country pub with a friendly welcome and great service. Most importantly the food was delicious and plentiful. Will definitely return!Vegetarian options: Had a lovely veggie Sunday roast . Butternut squash and mushroom wellington with all the other normal trimmings.

Lovely country pub with an emphasis on the food offer which was excellent. The pies are always s good choice on a cold day. Roaring log fire made the final touch.

We had Sunday lunch with our friends and this was one of the best roasts we have had. Food amazing and staff were so helpful and friendly. Will be visiting again soon.
Really lovely village pub, the building is stunning with wooden beams and the fire can be on which makes for a lovely atmosphere. Staff are lovely and there is good parking. Food is good particularly the sticky toffee pudding and they are happy to make swaps. There are also a few vegan options ie vegan burger. Otherwise good typical pub food.
