“We’ve been in here only a few times for drinks, always been a good experience. A proper old timey place, heavily beamed and full of character. We tried out the food this time, a blackboard is the menu, there’s a good selection of pub classics, a lovely drop of Aspell’s cider and the jobs a goodun. I had the steak and kidney pie with veg and my wife went for the Wagu burger. It was delicious, great service and some wonderful anecdotes from the landlord.”
