The Wife and I were in Felixstowe in the morning and decided we would track down somewhere to have a breakfast, so came across this great little Cafe.We are both vegetarian so I decided on the Veg breakfast and my wife on the eggs florentein with extra mushrooms, we were not disappointed both breakfasts were amazing especially for me the home made hash brown, and what I call real bread for the toast. We was greeted on entrance by this lovely, happy and polite staff member very attentive, she is a credit to you Gullivers Wife Cafe, look after her.The Cafe was spotlessly clean and very inviting, we will most definitely be paying a visit again.Vegetarian options: We went in for a breakfast and the options were good.Parking: Plenty of parking options nearby

I went here with my partner and our 3 year old daughter, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, they were happy to adapt the set breakfast to meet our needs, they were happy to help with anything we needed, and always had a smile on their face. The food was incredible and reasonably priced, would highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: My little one was running around and on and off the chairs and getting under peoples feet and the staff were so kind towards her and showed that they were caring, it was nice to not feel uncomfortable trying to manage a toddler in a busy area.

Hello, here is my option of this cafe.I wanted to find a local cafe that served a good fried breakfast. I do enjoy a proper original English breakfast. So I decided to look on Google to see what the highest rated cafés are locally. This cafe was one of a few that is rated very highly, so I decided to give it a try.On first entering the cafe I saw that the cafe looked very clean, and I received a welcome as I approached the counter.I was asked to take a seat and they took my order..... All good ?????Then things went downhill. I asked for a full English - large, then pointed out, on the menu it said 'smoked' bacon. The lady said- yes it's smoked. I said I just wanted normal bacon, she replied- they only do smoked bacon. I found this very strange, I seriously do not like anything smoked. I prefer the original real taste of any meat.Anyway, I asked what kind of sausages do they serve, the lady did not know, I asked if the sausages are pork as pork was my preference. She said she did not know if it had pork inside, or what kind of meat was inside. She laughed and apologised. In the end I just went along with it and ordered a cup of tea with my breakfast.Service was polite and quick. The food was hot, the plate was warm, not too hot to handle. The atmosphere was good, Music not too loud, no loud talking, the smell of the cafe was fresh.. Really, I can't fault the service and the cafe. ?????Unfortunately the breakfast, in my opinion was not good, not to my taste. The sausages was tough, the consistency was dry, dense, and the flavour was definitely not to my taste. I'm also not sure what kind of meat was inside the sausage. The bacon was very smoked, made me gag a little. I ended up putting the sausages and bacon in a serviette to take home for the dog. Fortunately the eggs, beans, tomatoes etc tasted normal and was enjoyable. The reason I have scored 2 stars is because, at the end of the day the food is what is most important. And I did not enjoy it, and eat it all. Also, not able to order unsmoked bacon is not good, and not knowing the contents of a sausage was not good either. I was a little bewildered because I have never encountered this before, and I'm 55.I may try this cafe again in the future if I hear changes have been made to the bacon and sausages. ??
