The reason for 4 stars on atmosphere was that we were sitting at a table that wasn’t well lit. Enjoyed a hunters jacket spud the following day and again was just the ticket. Both meals freshly prepared and service with a smile. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute little lunch outing that won’t break the bank.

77 Hamilton Road, FelixstoweWhat can we say about the Wimpy other than WOW! To keep a franchise of this calibre while maintaining a family team oriented feel is just incredible! We came in the other day and all went for the quarter pounder with fries, milkshake and pepsi. Then went in for the 2for1 dessert… you had to roll us all out of the door the food was that good! The work team are very efficient, friendly and so polite. It clearly shows they love their job, even behind the counter when prepping food and drinks, a real friendly atmosphere! Thank you very much for accommodating our walk in table it was greatly appreciated!

So glad we missed our reservation - everything was perfect ? the food was great - lamb cooked to perfection, burger was amazing, and Bea, who served us was lovely - friendly, welcoming and an absolute star.

The best place has got to be the smoking area, I have made so many friends from all over the place. I order every week, we like the shish kebabs with chilli and garlic mayo, my tip is to ask for sauces on the side, that way your meat and pitta don’t get soggy. The chilli sauce is seriously good, not too spicy and really fresh. I love the red cabbage and onion, and the lamb flavour and quality is amazing especially the price for the quantity you get. Highly recommend.

The service is good, the food is always hot and good, in around 10 years I have never been disappointed and will travel to go there. Recommend.

The service was good and fast. My latte come out piping hot which I like as lot of places serve too cold for my liking. Everything was cooked to perfection how we asked. Staff were really friendly and the price was reasonable I would 100% visit here if I was to come back to Felixstowe again.

Lovely weather so sat out on the balcony and enjoyed my beer watching the ships come in and the world pass by.

I ordered beef chop suey and it was so rich in flavour and there was a generous amount of meat it was my first time trying Chinese and I must say it won't be my last time! I'm so glad I visited China cottage for my first experience of Chinese food! The service was even better than the food in a way! My server was named Georgie if I remember correctly and she was a pleasure to meet! She was so polite and very helpful I hope next time I visit I get to see georgie again! She was very good at explaining the dishes and overall I would say my experience at China cottage was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend to visit or get takeaway!!Kid-friendliness: I came with my daughter and they were so polite and welcoming to her it was also her first time trying Chinese so it was the best experience!!

Very little grease on the bottom of the box, and the chips we shared a medium between two and he shared the chips out for us (definitely think he gave us extra because the portion was huge). Curry sauce was one of the best we’ve had in a long time - steaming hot and full of flavour. Our go to fish and chip shop now. We sat in (they have two seats and table) to avoid the seagulls and strong winds but there are plenty of bench’s outside and off course beach not far to sit of if wanted
