We’ve just moved to the area from Bury St Edmunds , and have eaten our way around many many Chinese takeaways ( our absolute favourite food)over the years. We tried this takeaway today, and the food tasted good. The huge bugbear was the quantity given. We spent almost £30 and when hubby bought the food home, I asked if they’d omitted to give all the dishes we ordered. Firstly the sweet & sour special was dreadful value for what was offered. Admittedly a large container of sauce, but let down by the amount of meats offered. Also whenever we’ve ordered Singapore fried rice at ANY takeaway previously we’ve been given the larger sized container. Not here sadly. A small single sized container. Ditto the meat ‘house special’ another single sized container. The only redeeming factor was the Singapore chow mien, which like all other places we’ve visited, actually gave value for money by offering a full sized larger container. Why skimp on the others ? The spring rolls (2) were smaller in our opinion than others we’ve had ( unless you choose the mini spring rolls of course) the standard size here was just a tad larger than mini. Luckily we ordered a portion of prawn crackers ( previously when spending a reasonable amount such as £30 we’ve often had these given as a gesture of goodwill). Not here sadly. We were given two small bags for our money, and thank goodness we ordered these as they managed to pad the complete meal out. Usually we have enough food left when ordering takeaway to freeze leftovers to enjoy at another time. Sadly certainly not this time. It’s a great shame that this meal was without doubt the smallest meal we’ve had from takeaway. The food tasted for the most part good. The portions terrible. Sorry but not at all good value for the money we spent.

Really, really great food, great service with smiles all round from helpful staff. Always the right dish served in good time.A small business so if it gets very busy the wait is a little longer but we'll worth the wait.We are regulars as its very pleasant all round.

We ordered sweet & Sour chicken. It didn’t look like chicken nor did it taste like chicken. We had no idea what we were eating. There was parts of the chicken that looked like they had mould on them. It definitely wasn’t fresh whatever it was.We also ordered Szechuan chicken. It was flavourless and I had to add seasoning and it was not spicy.Last but not least we also ordered an omelette which was very dry looked like it had just been thrown in the container. Very disappointing. My grandson cried. Some of the chips were not cooked.I really hope we are not Unwell tomorrow. For the £36 we spent we feel let downWon’t use them again

The fact that they catered for 20 of us. Every one had enough to eat and it was totally on time, and that it's the best that most of them had ever had ,!!!!!can't rate them highly enough xx

We have just moved to Felixstowe and have had several takeaways from here. Everyone has been brilliant. Nice people on the telephone. Covid distancing in place so only one person allowed in the shop at one time. The food is superb. I have no hesitation in recommending this Chinese takeaway. Well done Magic Wok.

We have just moved to Felixstowe and have had several takeaways from here. Every one has been brilliant. Nice people on the telephone. They ring you back when it's ready for collection. Covid distancing in place so only one person allowed in the shop at a time, with a mask. The food is superb. I have no hesitation in recommending this Chinese takeaway. Well done Magic Wok!

Our family have been going here for years. It's the best Chinese we have had in the UK, with a good variety of food on their menu at reasonable prices.

Purchased tonight 18/10/20 chicken curry and special fried rice and two spring rolls for £11.10 and wish I hadn't. The chicken curry sauce was very runny and the spring rolls were awful, in fact I only ate half of one and threw the rest away but what's worse is there was a shard of bone in the spring roll about the size of a five pence piece. The special fried rice was ok with no complaint. I ate the chicken curry which was ok apart from the runny sauce. I will not go there again.
