Lovely pub, but no longer offers a menu except for 10+ groups and specific occasions.

We came here for a big family get together 18 of us. Nothing to much trouble, staff very attentive. Food was great. Christmas menu was very reasonable for the tasty food u got. Warm and welcoming. Would definitely return

We arrived at the pub/restaurant and ordered some drinks, the woman behind the bar serving didn’t know which pump was bitter, after asking a customer she delivered 2 pints of beer, I asked if we got chocolate flakes with it., to go in the foam top. The place its self was a bit grubby and the decor has not changed in years. The second round a different woman serviced no better in fact worse, if the place was busy you have to make some allowances but only 6 customers and our party was 4 of them. The only advice I would give is pack up and become a government artist draw dole, or find someone who is willing to spend time showing you how to run a bar. Ordered chips as a guide on the food as heard it was bad and they arrived uncooked so got our answer on that. Having your name over the door does not mean you can operate a pub. What a joke harsh be true

Sunday roast. All good portions, really good parsnips. Good Yorkshire pudding. Disappointing roast potatoes, not crispy and hard in the middle. Nice chocolate brownie. Reasonable value.

We had pre booked for Sunday Roast explaining that we had a 17 month old with certain allergies. When we arrived a lovely member of staff had already written out items from the menu which would be suitable for the little one. They even provided a selection of suitable small toys. This kind of service means a lot. The meal itself was excellent, food and service to a really good standard. Staff were really friendly, it all made for a lovely afternoon. We highly recommend
Lovely ? little find. Good pint of Beer, White Wine with

The best Sunday roast I have ever had. Tender beef and turkey, roast potatoes and parsnips, carrot, broccoli, cheesey cauliflower, yorkshire pudding and cabbage. Brilliant gravy. Compliments to the chef! I want to lick the plate!

AWFUL food...... never arrived together. 3 of us eating 10 mins before other 3. Sunday waitress blond hair no idea what she is doing. Food like microwave meals. No customer skills from young service staff at all. Don't waste your money better pubs in felixstowe to eat.

A Sunday Roast is a very special meal, a treat even. Following a post on Facebook by The White Horse, Church Road, Felixstowe IP11 9NF, the two of us decided to try them out. We booked a table over the phone for 1pm. We arrived and were shown to our table. There didn't seem to be many in the restaurant area but it turned out there was a large family group in the beer garden behind the pub. There was a choice of Beef or Turkey. We ordered the beef. It did take a while to arrive but was worth the wait. A good amount of perfectly cooked beef, sliced thickly enough, with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, string beans, carrots and cauliflower cheese. Neither of us had the yorkshire pud by choice. It was delicious and well worth the £12.95p it cost. Thanks to the team at The White Horse and please keep us the good work.
It's a real pub with a great atmosphere ❤️
