“Stayed for a wedding and the visit exceeded expectations. Asked for an early check in and was not a problem. Room was beautiful, quiet, clean and well laid out. The staff on duty were very eager and proactive. The stay was exactly what was advertised. The breakfast in the morning was the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, fresh local ingredients, cooed as requested on demand. I would recommend this as a stay over for the event venue, for a nice mini break or just as a treat.Food & drinks: Best breakfast ever.”

“Nice pub for an afternoon meal. Good had generous portions and was decent. The salad was fresh as was the bread for my sandwich. Loads of bacon in the blt. Onion rings could have been a bit crispier and the salad needed a bit less dressing but overall it was a great meal. The out door seating is lovely with nice views of the castle.”
