This is a lovely little traditional pub, a free house that is around 500 years old. They have a great set of beers and the environment is very authentic. Alex is very nice.You have to hook the horn!! It's so funny!!Recommended to have a drink there if you are around!!

Thank you Alex, we had an amazing break from the city. We stayed in the “Outdoor Inns” pods and had outstanding food in “The Star” pub. We will recommend to friends and family and we will definitely come back.We did many walks around the village, and its only a 10 minute drive to Newmarket if you need to go to shops or high street bakery etc.

Eleven of us had a family birthday meal this evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Good service, food and drinks. The pub is cosy, warm and welcoming. Great deal on Fish and Chip Wednesday, but also good burgers, steak, chicken and liver and bacon.

Great old fashioned village pub with excellent hearty food.They now have pods which sleep 6 people; perfect location if you're going racing, only 10ish minutes from Newmarket.
