“It was a family birthday trip to Suffolk and we stayed in a converted barn about 1 hrs walk from the pub. Such beautiful walk and then greeted with a nice table and such friendly service from the landlords daughter. She was full of energy and enthusiasm. The Sunday lunch was lovely and great value. Gorgeous pudding great beer and even a game of pool before our walk home. Perfect country village pub. We all loved it.”

“Found by Google whilst on holiday. What a gem.
The staff were lovely and friendly, service was quick and food... well amazing, very generious portions and delicious. We had the mixed grill and hunters chicken. The meat was tender and juicy. Would 100% recommend this cracking little pub.
We will definatly come back when we visit the area again.”

“We decided to book for a Sunday roast and what a decision it was. We chose a pork and a beef and we weren’t disappointed in portion size (huge) as well as flavours. Finally a Sunday roast where the roast potatoes were actually crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, gravy was plentiful and vegetables were spot on. Also it was lovely to see the offers they hold throughout the week with majority involving the cost of a beer, wine or soft drink. The ladies serving were lovely to speak to and service was o point considering how busy they were. We will definitely be back.”
