The Buck was a five minute walk from our holiday cottage and was recommended. it did not disappoint, a lovely old pub, dog friendly with such lovely friendly staff. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. We tried both on several occasions and the food was excellent, generous servings too. We highly recommend it if you are in the area.
An excellent country pub absolutely fantastic food steak and ale pie is the best I've ever had friendly and helpful staff good value for money a must visit best to book as they are very popular

Had a lovely lunch here, the lasagna was delicious and my husband loved his liver, bacon and sausage casserole. We had apple crumble and custard to follow. All homemade and very reasonable. We had our 2 dogs with us and they were made very welcome.We really enjoyed it and will go back soon!
